About dang time. We've needed a resource like this for a while now. It's not perfect, but it's a great start. I have to give them credit.

this is pretty useful, seems like they have video on parts of the transformers that are quite confusing on paper. :-?

This... well this seems kinda pointless. I mean the toys come with instructions AND there are videos all over youtube for how to transform these toys. Who's idea was this? Did it cost them anything? Can they get the money back and put it into something more useful? Like say robot mode figures for ROTF Scrapper, Hightower, and Overload?

Not everyone. Instructions and their Quality Control has been an issue of late, as many figures in the RotF lineup are missing instructions :? There are also people buying figures from others, and many of those don't come with instructions. It's all a matter of convenience, and that's what TakaraTomy is trying to demonstrate.

What Blurz said, and as for the website It's not overly complicated.
Someone could probably make it quite cheaply, especially if they work solely for TakTom. The most expensive part would be the hosting in this case, but I'm sure that'd be covered by TakTom's previous websites.

Simply put, would the costs spent on this website be able to get a whole new toy mold for the RotF line? Not likely.

I like the fact that documentation is available in digital format. However, I found that the instructions for both Leader OP and Leader JF didn't help a lot. After spending a few minutes going through the instruction diagrams, I just put them down, picked up the toys, and learned to transform them on my own. There are just some transformation processes that aren't put to paper well. Or maybe they can't be put to paper well.

Their instructions for Mudflap are bad, really. You can fold down the backpack and hood segment to be even more compact than it looks. Makes a tightly packed, more solidified robot mode.

There's even a mod that'll let you cut off two small pieces of plastic (not even noticeable) that allows the wheels on his shoulders to come forward more.

Fortunately, they got Skids right. I don't know of any other way to make him more compact, really.
