I agree with this. it is a very nice mech and a nice homage to the original

But are you comparing it to standard transformers or to its original source? This technically is more akin to a megazord than a combining transformer.

If this is to be redecoed into any Transformer, should be the one who was based on Diabattles in the first place: Stormbringer.Windsweeper wrote:The silhouette of the robot mode reminds me of G1 Skyquake.
I'd have no problem seeing it repainted as such or Scrash or even Jhiaxus.

Well, it shouldn't be read as "Diabattle" anyway (a typo seen throughout this thread). Its name is "Diabattles".Burn wrote:That and every time I read it I read Diabattle as Diabetes.

It might have something to do with there being three primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and Japan's affinity for color-coded heroes using those three colors, so a lot of Japanese hero teams end up doing things in trios based on the three colors, which we also see here in Diabattles's deco.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Quick Question: Why is it that japanese original combiner-types love to use 3 members so much? it just seems a bit odd to me![]()
