Keanu? You're a fan?zodconvoy wrote:MP-01 was the OG whoa, without it there would be no others. Hell, the Alternators would've even failed without it. MP-02 rode on that whoa because you knew the whoa you were getting times Dreamwave Ultra Magnus cover whoa. Basic math.
The next real whoa wasn't until MP-08. Grimlock was a big damn whoa. The only complaint I have ever heard about it is the height which since they decreased the scale of the line isn't really a factor for most anymore.
MP-09's whoa started out high but decreased sharply with a whole host of issues. Still, much whoa at the Zod household for any Rodimus. I admit to bias.
MP-10 had the biggest whoa since MP-01. Straight up rewhoaing over a beautiful figure. MP-11 tried to ride the rewhoaing but, while impressive in its own right, not much whoa in something we've seen a bunch and knew we'd be seeing a lot more of. Starscream by nature has negative whoa. Which sucks because I like him. MP-10B had a harder fight but more than made its own whoa. I actually like the mold better in black because of it.
MP-13 and crew may have the highest combined whoa of the line. Getting them all together is like kaioken times 20 whoa. About as close as possible to a perfect whoa.
Had to wait a bit for more whoa but we got it back to back in MP-21 & 22. Bumblebee is more whoa than Soundwave on his own and is just carved out of solid whoa, blessed by pure whoa, and smiled upon by the gods of whoa. He'd be a perfect whoa if Soundwave and the cassettes hadn't raised the whoa limit. Ultra Magnus is a different kind of whoa. He's a whoa of mass and engineering. A huge technical whoa is still a whoa.
Hot Rod, Shockwave, Ironhide, even Optimus Primal all still have their whoa level pending until release and review. Shockwave is expected to keep his high whoa while speculation is that Optimus Primal may have the highest whoa levels ever recorded.
End result is that Hot Rod is still positive net whoa until proper testing is completed.
Note: All G2 versions have additional whoa added to the original. Hence G2 Sideswipe has whoa like crazy over Sideswipe. Obviously the same is true for Bumblebee. Thus they were not included in the ranking due to skewing the curve and unfairly decreasing whoa across the board. G2 Bumblebee is perfect whoa.
I was thinking more this:Sabrblade wrote:Also, all these "whoas" and not one post of this?

So will MP-28 be to MP-09 what MP-10 was to MP-01?

I whoaed, as it came with a trailer to match in the initial run!william-james88 wrote:Excellent question. I say yes but only because I didnt woah that much with MP10 since most of its woah effect came from the intial MP 01 woah.Rodimus Prime wrote:So will MP-28 be to MP-09 what MP-10 was to MP-01?
I just realized I didn't upload it. On the other side of the non-visibly broken hinge it is also broken. He MAY have fallen backwards ONCE from standing position, MAYBE? Still, sadness.william-james88 wrote:Can people please upload an image of their broken TRU MP Rodimus, showing it's broken please? I still think that this looks pretty good and I can't wait to see proper group shots to see how he fits in with the rest of the guys.

ZeroWolf, there shouldn't be any exposed metal pin on that section in the middle of the picture, so as Hellscream noted, it does something to the figure. Something terrible!!Hellscream9999 wrote:The hinge that holds the backpack to the body is cracked to pieces, I guess that does something to the figureZeroWolf wrote:Am I being blind? I have a feeling that we're in the small minority.Ironhidensh wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:So will MP-28 be to MP-09 what MP-10 was to MP-01?
at this point, I'd say 28 makes 9 look good.

Carry turned out to be pretty good (but what a stupid name), I wonder if he would ever get a Hot Rod version. I'm still gonna pick up MP-28 most likely, if only to display him in car mode. That looks decent. It's the robot mode that sucks.Ironhidensh wrote:On the plus side, with the overall feeling on MP28 being negative, I bet we get a real kick-ass third party Hot Rod. Something along the lines of Apollyon.

They have, at least at TFSource. I've had mine on pre-order for weeks now.

Yeah, and they've been available at RK for a while now:

I beleive thats the only version they carry anyways.
