I did notice that the FT version uses a fake chest. If you look at the front underside of the car mode, you'll see his chest there.

It dissapointed me a bit actually. I thought there were a bunch of layer in that backpack but its just the back section and what I thought were layers were just the side exhausts folded inward. So in the end it's just flipping the head, arms and exhausts and then linking the front to the back while stuffing the legs under. I thought it would be more involved and I really think the backpack could have been reduced since the back exhausts folding in looks quite clumsy.

I don't understand why you have to bend the arms at the elbow if you're going to straighten them out anyway. It also looks like we're getting a black repaint of Tracks and Rodimus.

The worst part is that they could have easily had the rear wheel well, wheels, and exhaust pipes fold into the cavity of the legs in bot mode. Then, there would have been no backpack chunk, it would have collapsed against the back very well, and then he would look really nice.

Those are the G1 molds in the black redecos they've had before. Notice how toy-accurate they are drawn compared to how the MP Hot Rodimus in the comic is drawn show-accurate.
