Tak/Tomy should really offer an English translation option on their site. Given the slumping JPN toy marketplace a lot of their sales are coming from overseas and English speaking countries specifically. Not hard to do that at all IMHO!

I noticed that Skylynx is marked "Encore Special" unlike the other reissues. I wonder what that refers to.

I just can't get excited for that Skylynx toy, I hated him as a kid and I still think that he sucks.

All joking aside, Sky Lynx is actually cool, but he's definitely not worth the price they're commanding right now.

There are many other G1 figures that deserve a reissue (and we're getting one of those, Omega Supreme) and it's a shame.

Did the Lynx component have it's own character? Or was it just a machine under Skylynx's control?

I'd buy the Encore for $40/$50 maybe if I had the spare dough but not at the current $80+ price tag.

Yeah, it's $80, but I'm all over that reissue like dino-bird on a puma.

I've actually never even SEEN a Sky-Lynx in person, but always drooled over it in the catalogues...

...same thing for the upcoming Omega Supreme. What a great way to spend money until Animated and Classicsverse 2.0!
