Dude, don't be so closed minded. I use to hate G2 and think it was the stupidest thing, but with the botcon stuff it kinda grew on me. Having some fiction to support it makes all the difference (although I wish they had explained the colors by claiming they were from Nebulos, were things are ALREADY wacky colored).

I was just about to post that. It's funny how people that actually like that show are so misinformed. I don't even like it and I knew that the creators have said that Slipstream was based on Overlord. And her personality is kind of similar to Mega (the female Godmaster half of Overlord. She was Giga's wife).

You can still order the figure without being a member of the TCC... it will be a bit more expensive but you will still be able to obtain it. If you don`t want to buy it through the TCC, then it`s possible to buy it through one of our sponsors, such as BBTS.. who have TCC Dion and TCC Cyclonus from this year on sale.. as well as many others from previous years;

If you are in the u.s. they will charge you $40 more, basically charging you for a membership. I don't know what it is for international customers.

I'm really curious to see what we actually get. I can't fathom the TFCC entering a partnership with Reprolabels. Of course, in this instance it looks pretty neat. It could also possibly mean less expensive exclusives since paint apps cost money while stickers, I can imagine would be less so. I can't say I specifically love the idea. It isn't a terrible one either.

I'm a huge G2 fan but one thing I didn't like was that the G2 Seekers were not new characters, especially since they're sufficiently different in colour to their G1 counterparts.
I have the G2 Seekers and in answer to an earlier post, G2 Starscream's colours are very different to the G1 version.
The body is white and weird pink, orange, red hybrid, not light grey and red.
The fists and feet are grey.
A Classics repaint would look very different to the earlier Classics Starscreams. As for G2 colours being garish, G2 Screamer was less outlandishly coloured than G1 Screamer. Plus the original Classics Starscream was horribly coloured.
I do see G2 Ramjet as G1 Slipstream. I'm a Seeker nut and their colour schemes are reasonably close.
Pity we haven't a new name for G2 Starscream. I call the black and gold repaint, Darkscream, an already used, legitimate TF name.
Of course, if we're renaming sufficiently different G2 repaints of G1 characters, how about the Dinobots? Maybe use the names Cruellock or Tyrannitron?
