Meh...I'm sure this thing about "how retail works" has come up every time a new line turns up for a while now. (Since Classics, at least, because it came up for me at one point while I was looking for Devastator.) Of course they have the inventory. It's just a rule that they aren't supposed to put it out until the manufacturer (in this case Hasbro) tells them to.

Well that sucks anyway you look at if you have them in your back room then that is less space for other toys and if you don't have them and people do hear about other stores having them then you getting flooded by assh**** asking for you to search the back room something that isn't there so either way your screwed nice job hasbro.

Yup, it sure did. I pre-ordered everything minus Starscream (was out of stock by the time I found out they had them up). I saved $10 on top of not paying the shipping costs.

Shrug. $10 is $10, I can wait a week or two longer for them to fill my order. I'll save way more money in the long run anyway because I won't be wasting gas driving store to store to store to store looking for stuff.

Well after reading the debate here, I took JTKranix's advice and just did a pre-order for BumbleBee, BulkHead, The Battle Begins set & a Nerf Nerfoop (to make the $50 requirement) and with the free shipping and %10 off, it comes out cheaper and much more convenient then buying and hunting at retail. Toys R US, Walmart and target are all in my city but with the current gas prices....

I hope to catch Starscream as well when available.
Just thought I'd share some thoughts.
