TF Prime Blurr

Motto: "Ore wa Gundam"
Weapon: Electro-Laser Cannon
The idea of TFP Blurr was birthed the moment I opened up TFP Wheeljack. Luckily for the project I popped my customizing cherry well before hand so I wasn't going to make a mess of this. Still there was still alot of customizing firsts with this toy, so I still had to cash in the Vcard again....

For the transition from WJ to Blurr, the most obvious part was the head, I cut Wheeljack's 'ears' and added Blurr's trademark fin. I added a couple tendrils, a goatee, and IRL Blurrz smirk for character. Second had to be Blurr's signature shoulders. I could have left the shoulders parallel to the chest instead of WJ's perpendicular, but I really wanted more height with it, so I greenstuffed the shoulders to make them taller. This complements the vehicle mode, making it more aerodynamic and blurr friendly. Lastly I had to toss the swords because they look terrible to begin with. Didn't stray too far from home as I found something from my Gunpla hobby, taking Gundam Cherudim's Sniper Rifle transitioning into Battle Rifle weapon.

For paints, I mixed my teals and blues with whites and metallics for a shinier sheen. Added a bunch of paint chipping which isn't exactly evident with the photos, guess I'll try photographing with a white background from now on.

Thanks for looking!

Those fins really work in alt mode. Using that mold as Blurr is a great idea and you did a great job making it happen.

Pretty labor heavy customization you did there i must say. He looks great man! :APPLAUSE:

Nice.. That mold fits that character well.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box of social media to think for you.
Anticipating the end of the world and civilization as we know it.
Practicing witch and proud of it.
You don't have to believe, I don't care, matter o' fact I hope you die a slow painful death.

A good use for the mould, but with the shoulders looking a little rough I do wonder if you've had much experience working with epoxy putty previously. A couple of pointers would be to keep your sculpting tools wet while working the putty and to sand the parts to even the finish before painting.
