I totally agree. A big, plastic, unpainted toy for 600 bucks! Your kidding aren't you. It probably cost like 20 bucks to make, if that. I understand the design process costs money but really, these third parties are really taking the piss.

A second set is a sure thing for me; I'm trying to argue myself out of a third set.xyl360 wrote:donnie_707 wrote:on the contrary.....its the 1 600 dollar robot thats getting me to fetch my wallet for this thing. the 6 decent figures are just a bonus
That's a good point. Unfortunately (for my wallet) I want a second set to keep in bot and/or vehicle mode just because of how awesome the individual figures ended up being. I had no idea that they would be so sweet in-hand that I'd contemplate getting a second set to keep in non-combined mode.

Now that is a glorious Decepticon!

Tempting but I think I'm setting my store credit aside for Stepper and then apply the balance toward the green MT Giant set.
It's a fair chunk of change but Herc is totally worth it, even accepting the... erm, labor... involved in doing the crotch swap for Heavy Labor.DevastaTTor wrote:DevastaTTor wrote:GiveMeSkyfire wrote:I too was luke warm on the green but for some reason the sum is greater than the parts and it seems right once combined. Funny, after a few more weeks of thinking about the 3P Devastators and watching more Hercules reviews, I've decided to get the set after all. Figures there's no guarantee at this point that we'll see the green version of Giant and I figured I'd better order these now and not miss out. I'm also intrigued about what else could be in store for Hercules, both from TFC and from other 3P toy makers.
