On topic though, Seacon price is Okay, Nighbeat is standard considering Airrazor was a Deluxe too. I look forward to adding them to my collection.

Does it help any that she INSISTED I watch both Transformer movies with her, and her reaction when showing her my Powermaster Prime reissue was " WOW. That's really cool"

Not really big on exclusives and would prefer the originals. I like the G1s color scheme better for Seacons and could probably pick one up for the combined cost of both the exclusives. The only exclusives i really have are the Shattered glass ones from Botcon. I love how it came packaged in the giftset and am wondering if that's how the Seacons will come? Not in the same style of box but something a little similar to the G1 or newer styles of giftset boxes. Might think about it though.

My membership lapsed at the start of the month, just put in for another year with the club. I'm liking where Timelines is going with the Transtech storyline at the moment so getting it a year or two ahead of the trades is fine with me and the next membership figure is the deluxe from the combiner set, not a huge difference to the basics but makes membership that little bit more worthwhile this year. I'll be preordering a couple of sets of Seacons and Nightbeat within the next couple of weeks, just got to make sure my finances are running smoothly since that's a pretty big whack all at once. I've kind of thought of those Seacons as being G2 versions ever since I first saw the pictures of the unreleased Universe scheme, great to finally be able to get them. As far as packaging goes the previous club figures (Astrotrain and Airrazor) have both come in the Botcon style lidded boxes with foam inserts, so I'd expect that trend to continue with these. After all Nightbeat's box needs to be big enough to fit a comic into so the foamed box makes more sense there than other alternatives given the size of the figure.

Nightbeat is coming home. Already have the Seacons, so pass there. Damn, between this, Hentei* Thundercracker, Universe and Magnus armor, I'll probably have to skip a couple of good games this year.

I've been SERIOUSLY putting off joining the club for a long time now. But if the Seacons set is $40 more for non-club members then I'll just fork over the forty and join the club. At least this way the $40 net me some cool stuff.

I'm only going to point out that "npk" assumed that my gf controls my wallet, which she doesn't, and that I chose to ignore his snarky remark and respond without being condescending.

Also, we're not in disagreement.

How does these club exclusives work? Do I need to be a member of the club to buy these? If not, can they ship worldwide? Or is there a possibility that BBTS will sell them? I would really like to have the Seacons, I miss them in my G1/G2 combiners collection...

I really want the Nightbeat, but $40 plus $40 for membership ... too rich for my blood.

I just shelled out for the Henkei seeker set, so I'm tapped on exclusives for the moment.

Thank god. I was beginning to think these were still just rumors, and weren't really coming out at all. Preorder time!

I just found out about this trying to figure something else out of at the TFCC site. No surprise on the price tag on the Seacons but it's gonna be worth it, IMO.

Well with a Joe club convention very near, I assume they are a bit busy with that. But delays from the club are nothing new, are they?
