It looks like we're getting 6 scout class figures that will combine into something that is roughly the size of a leader class figure

I'm predicting the figures will be about $30 each. We're looking at a roughly $180 figure.

I've heard that these are either being sold together or individually? How are they actually being sold? I'm kinda hoping that they'll be in packs of 3.

They appear to range in size between large deluxes and voyagers, we've seen previous images of them compared to other figures and they are definitely bigger than scouts. They will be released individually, IIRC the first figure is supposed to be available in May or maybe that's when the first preorder will open.

Here's an older image of Hook and Scavenger with ROTF Longhaul and Rampage.

Thanks for clarifying. As I was going back over the sample picture of the combo Devastator would have looked kinda atumpy with scout class leg. H'es definitely going to need something with some heft to pull of this figure.

It's interesting to see the size of these figures. It's nice to see that they are using size classes to eliminate kibble. Brilliant idea.

With only past third party creations to go by, I can't be sure but $30 a piece at their scale is probably close if not on on the low end. But even still, bear in mind that Delicate Warrior costs north of $110.

Yeah, yeah; picking on iGear isn't exact fair, but my point is, which do you think/feel pays back the expense?

My first guess was based on the idea that these figures we're all about the size of Explorer and Munitioner.

However, I'm going to guess that these will have a fairly large production run which will help keep the cost down for then end result.

If it costs too much to make Devastator than I can assume that they won't sell at all. My guess is that TFClub is going to try to make this thing affordable.

Then again if they're charging $30 for 2 figures that turn into cheasy guns, then they may price gouge the heck out of this set. I'm hoping that it will be affordable as I refuse to spend an amount on this set that would be better put towards the Botcon 2007 set which I've been wanting for a while now.

Called it :)

Hoping that its not to be made as an upgrade for Devastator Maximus like so many people have been wanting; for two reasons:
1. I do not have those molds, and getting an Ultra Magnus, Rodimus, and a Optimus Prime were all costly enough.
2. Would have to call him Stumpinator... which isn't too bad a name now that I think about it.

PS Anyone else thinking that first pic looks like he's about to strut on a fashion show or something?

That's because that's only the Long Haul figure, not the whole Devastator.

I like that it's using Energon connectors. It's just a bit more fun for what you're buying.

I agree. Just look at the previous pics of not Hook and not Scavenger together. That should put any fears aside....

That can depend. Got one that holds exceedingly well, and not one is loose (2 superions and 2 bruticus's for 16, plus fansproject upgrade for +3 plugs). I'll have to sometime test how much weight lifting they can do (pun) to have a better idea of how well it can hold a pose with the arms, but they will hold together, that much I'm sure of.

Thanks, my concern was with whether connectors designed for scouts could handle the weight and stress of a rather hefty looking deluxe figure hanging off it for any length of time.

wow, now I feel stupid. But if realising how bloody huge this is going to be is the price for stupidity, I don't want to be smart!
