I'm torn. I actually like him as Magnus. The Ultra armor's always seem like overcompancation to me.

Magnus: "Orion got the Matrix, I got the shaft!"

Alpha Trion: "Oh, is that not fair? Here have a male enhancement suit."

Don't get me wrong, I love Ultra Magnus. But as both a little brather and an older brother (Middle Child Syndrome! WHOO!) I can't help but think of it as a sibling thing.

Still, I want one and will probably get one. And a new Classics Magnus to wear it so I get the best of both worlds.

My Magnus is still mint in box so i have no use for this. Cool idea but seeing as how that Cliffjumper upgrade is extremely overpriced im gonna pass.

finally, a good enough reason for me to open the Ultra Magnus vs. Skywarp MISB 2-pack.

$50 is a bit overboard though.

How would one go about pre-ordering one? I sounds like you have dealt with these folks before.

I ordered mine through the Ozformers board so I haven't dealt with them 'directly'. A friend of the designer (who lives in Australia) is organizing Australian orders. I haven't heard any word on orders for anywhere else other than Australia and Hong Kong. As far as I know the Magnus kit seems to be a much larger run than the Cliffjumper (limited to 300 kits) and will probably will be available internationally, as far as I've read.
I'm probably not the best person to ask about how to order these into America or the UK. There's some fellas in the TFW2005 thread that seem to be able to get these kits through 'local dealers'.

HK-TF & TFClub no idea who's offering it elsewhere. As far as I know Magnus wont be a limited release and will be available readily. I don't know if a particular online store will pick it up though. Some posters on TFW2005 mentioned ordering their's through a 'local dealer'.

That's good news! I'd cough up £25 to complete Ultra Magnus.

I'm gonna trot over to TFW2005 and see if the Brits know who's bringing them to our shores...

hmm, well, for starters, TFClub isn't even remotely associated with Hasbro business-wise. they're a third-party customs business that provide otherwise unmaterialized accessories for TFs. the Classics Ultra Magnus was produced by Hasbro, so that is why there is no chance in heck UM woulda come with this armor.

I hope BBTS or one of the other on-line dealers offers this as a pre-order. I would gladly pay a little extra to let them do the leg-work. But I'm kind of lazy.

I just contacted these guys direct on the CliffJumper set and they set it up via PayPal for $60.

Leary as I am, I fear I may get beat, but I saved a copy of our emails and submitted them as part of the PayPay message.

Hence even if I am beat, I'll still get my money back as PayPal is secure, and I have everything documented.

Here's hoping!

Now all I gotta do is get a Classics CliffJumper

Believe me I did!

They told me the Ultra Magnus armor is still in the design process and were kinda floored that I even knew about it as I could hardly navigate there site.

The Ultra Magnus set has no preorder, packaging, or even finalized form yet.

This is of course acording to emails and nothing I found on their site.

They did however promise me that they would keep me posted, if they do of course, that knowledge will be posted ASAP.

Still, it's cool that I beat the scalpers on the CliffJumper set

. I wanna get a sealed CliffJumper and display them next to eachother, I'll post pics!
