Are you going to weigh down some of the lower parts to make the standing more stable?

Work out the correct height for legs before you make them. I did a VT-1D training valkary from clay by eye but when the thing went together he looked like a midget

Nope. I'm going one part at a time and making sure everything fits right.
Luckly Megs has some bulky feet bottoms as well as wide legs so he should stand ok.

I recomend to add a good coat of epoxy inside the feet, and some inside the legs to give it more weight for stability
Otherwise, the project is coming along nicely! hope you dont never sell this one :p

Well, that's something I'll have to figure out as I come to it.
Like I said, I might not need it.

don't say that all loud! It could cause Tfmaster to work for hasbro/takara and we would have perfect toys, leaving no options for kitbashing!

Ha ha.
Anyhoo, it wouldn't happen anyway, I've tried sending work pics and links to my site and never got one interested reply back. I'd love to have a real job doing this but as of right now, it's just my hobby.

At first, I thought that the Decepticon symbol was a raised indentation thing, and almost died of a heart attack. Since it looks to be a decal, you'll have to settle with me being mighty impressed.
As for the transformation, I think I have it down, but I can't be sure until I see the rest of him. Either way, it's amazing work, and going pretty quickly, too.
...oh, and slight grammar correction from the resident historical linguist: "Ask and ye shall recieve."

Now about the green round 'engine' in his right side of the chest, what's in it? Or have you just painted it with green lemon like paint ?
It looks great!

If JAF's Mirage could do $510 at e-bay imagine what this Ultimate (what else to call it
Never imagined it could look this slick.
It sure shows that you've been investing a lot of time working out the geometry of the bot.

I thought I had the transformation figured out, but then I looked more closely and now I have no clue.

wow, TFMastah, thats beautyfull
question: why start painting when you are still building parts? I would find that illogical, but hey, if it works for you, go ahead

Actually, the head is near perfect for it's size and it is the size I wanted it.
His body is suppose to look bulky. It'll look better as soon as I finnish putting the collor areas around the head.
