This thread is all a huge spoiler for anyone that didn't watch "Crossfire" so beware!

I'm curious. Admittedly, not a lot of characters would care. He didn't really interact with anyone big.

But what do you guys think Knock Out thinks? and Bulkhead? I think KO is going to team up with some autobots to kick some MECH butt. Possibly against NP next episode (for using his buddy)

Thoughts?

Expecting: Optimus's reaction to Ironhide rusting away or Jetfire sacrificing himself.

I'm still in shock from that episode, really.

But, here's how I think the other key characters would react upon hearing the news:

Knockout: Breakdown? That is... most disappointing. Moreover, now who will I get to buff the finish on my comatose leaders?

Starscream: Yes, well, clearly Breakdown is not nearly as formidable as... yours truly.

Bulkhead: Breakdown ate it? Impossible. Do you think he tried to leave to become an autobot?

Optimus: Breakdown's fate was decided on his own, but even the loss of an adversary can be deserving of pause.

Soundwave:

Arcee: She killed him??? She'll pay for this!!!

Ratchet: Do you think we could harvest his voice box?

Bumblebee: Mrrrrr Wheee OOOO!!

I don't think we'll see much reaction from Knock Out. First of all, he seems to care only about himself and his paintjob. Even though Breakdown was his assistant, partner in crime and possibly a friend, we didn't see any reaction from him in 'Operation: Breakdown' or after it. I'm pretty sure he already knows about Breakdown's death. But his a medic, he knows what happens in war and is used to it. Mind you, I would like Knock Out to get even little bit upset. Maybe he will turn into a 'Ratchet' now, when he doesn't have his 'bodyguard' anymore in battlefield who would do all the heavy stuff. Make him extra-grumpy to anyone who tries to approach him.

Autobots don't know yet, and Starscream only knows that Airachnid did something to Megatron's lackey. Bulkhead might think that Breakdown deserved it, but still feel a little bit empty inside. Starscream could be surprised at first, then he realizes that Breakdown was the only 'Con who had dept to him, and now that he's gone Starscream is pretty much alone without back-up plan.

What surprised me is that in the episode Megatron of all beings showed some semblance of actually caring about Breakdown's death. Now hear me out on this one, Megatron was mad and asked about the remains.

Going by Megatron's characterization I expected him to do two things;
A. Not giving a flying frak.
B. "Did you dispose of the remains?" said in a 'I-don't-really-give-a-crap' voice.

I did not in a million years think he'd get pissed about the remains of one of his soldiers, he didn't even go for Dreadwing's remains. Yet here is a complete monster who has never so much as blinked at the death of one of his soldiers getting abnormally mad about not recovering his remains.
