This is the Mini-Con completist in me speaking (Imagine that), but during my little shopping spree yesterday I found two Japanese campaign Mini-Cons: Hellflame Quasar (Armada Prowl redeco) and Noise Effect (Classics Thunderwing redeco). I was too focused on completing my Prime Gachapon Arms Microns (only missing the green dragonfly), plus they had no price anywhere on them and the shop owner wasn't in at the time. So yeah, I passed on them for now. They would have been out my budget anyway, plus I prefer getting complete teams instead of one at a time.

I gotta stop making excuses and just buy the things next time I see them! :BANG_HEAD:

Foir some reason, everybody seem to want to get rid of their Animated figures lately. Which mean they are cheap and easy to find everywhere.

I did manage to find one on ebay (UK) yesterday, that's where the 'double' thing comes in. :-(

Normally, I regret not buying something for about 3 months and then I get over it.

However, I wish I started collecting the Alternators/Binaltech while they were in stores. Some of the prices on those figures are getting too high for me to justify making the purchase.

Ouch, sorry about your Hegemon woes, I'm glad I had the money to pick up mine when I did. I remember paying $100 shipped off of eBay before the shortage. Anyway my regret was at a local shop that had a mint Fansproject Protector complete with Henkei Rodimus and the upgrade Minicon with the gold accents upgrade parts. All for a $100 out the door. Oh why oh why did I have to blink?!

I was regretting not getting Protector for a while, but honestly... the robot design is just alright....its really blocky and the head sculpt isn't that great, plus I hear it has some issues with pieces fitting.

My point would be that Hasbro could probably make a voyager that is 10x better. I think in a year or two they make one too.

A Hegemon might have been nice. I really should have jumped on the green Giant when I had the cash as well, but didn't want to spend my money on a Kapow pre-order that might have not appeared for months. Now it's gone. Oh well.

The ones I always think of on this subject would be BW dragon Megatron and Tigerhawk. They were both in Tesco for around £3 or 4, back near the tail end of the BW line. BM might even have already come out, I can't remember exactly. I didn't have a lot of money to spare then, but dammit, I had that much for such normally expensive toys!

I passed on Generations Drift a couple times, and once I got Blur I was mad I missed out on Drift.

I know it's not 'buying' related, but it most certainly makes me feel regret.....
I'd been out of work of work for a while a few years back, and in order to pay some bills I had to sell a lot of my figures, and even though I had to do it, I still regret it. I can't look at Animated figures without feeling remorseful, or the larger Titaniums, or the Armada Seekers, or a handful of other things. I'm sure I've posted this same thing dozens of times on these boards over the years, but I guess I'm just stuck in one of those nostalgia zones today. I also just got the new Blitzwing, so I'm thinking of Animated Blitzwing, and feeling that regret.

For example, here's a lot I bought lately. The only Animated figure that is not Takara is Sentinel Prime. Guess how much this whole lot cost me by LOCAL PICK-UP?

I know it's a horrible TF but I love Animated so to this day I regret getting that big Animated Prime. You know the one with the weird rolly spinny auto transformation? I regret getting it at walmart when I saw it on clearance for $20.

Ah. I saw a whole pyramid of him sitting there one or two years ago in a clearance store. When they finally decided to let them go at 30$ instead of 40$, they were gone in an instant. Oh well.

WFC deluxe Soundwave was not a bad choice. However, you should have grabbed both!

I never pulled the trigger on the transmetal dragon Megatron from Beast Wars and regretted it ever since. I still have my Optimal Optimus, and he just feels incomplete with nothing to fight.

I saw the movie voyager Battle Blade Optimus Prime from the HFTD line (the one that looks like a miniature version of the leader figure) one time at a store and figured I'd grab one the next time I saw him. Never saw one again, and I can't justify his current eBay prices. Thought about grabbing the reissue from Wal-Mart, but he has hooks instead of swords and those silly stars painted on him, so I'm still looking for the original.

I used to feel this way about Masterpiece Grimlock (didn't have the cash when he was first released, and he exploded in price in the secondary market) but my wife actually saw the reissue at TRU last month and grabbed it for me. He looks so good next to Masterpiece Optimus :grin:

A coulple of the original Classics line that I am now trying to back track on:

Rodimus £8 from Wilkinsons (UK Superstore) now £20 on eBay
Ultra Magnus/Skywarp pack £10 from Woolworths (UK Superstore) now £40 for Magnus alone on eBay!
