Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Well, this could just be a preliminary name.Dead Metal wrote:Why call them Microns? Shouldn't these be Mini-Cons or "Deployers"?
He is all gray.Dead Metal wrote:Frenzy should have been all gray instead of G1 red, to better homage the versions they're homaging.

Ah Ok, not knowing who Stylor was I assumed the red gray guy in the front was Frenzy.

Metrosuplex wrote:This sweetens the pot considerably, as each micron is worth approximately $8.
I'm betting they require assembly, like their Japanese counterparts. I'd actually prefer that, rather than seeing what rush/hack job they did if they assembled them pre-ship.
Putting them together is actually some nostalgic fun, for those of you who built any sort of model kit once upon a time. The sticker applications, however, are total hell.
If any of you have NOT bought microns before, let me offer one piece of advice: THE STICKERS GET APPLIED AS YOU BUILD THE KIT, NOT AFTER! Especially important is the faction symbol that goes behind the crystal - I foolishly tried to apply stickers post-build, and you can not remove that crystal part on some of these guys, no matter how hard you try!![]()
Ehhh, this may not be that much of an addition, but it's still a nice thought. Can't wait to sign up for this!

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:And I just suddenly realised something: we already have 2 versions of Aligned Frenzy:
Fall of Cybertron Decepticon Frenzy (who's red)
Arms Micron AM-31 Frenzy (who's blue)
And now we have a new Frenzy (who's grey). Discounting US/Japan differences, if that Barricade is Prime Barricade, then what exactly is the new Frenzy? New character?

And even if this causes a conflict that leads to Aligned having more than one individual named Frenzy, it can be an homage to how back in the day, you had to buy two Frenzies if you wanted both Laserbeak and Ratbat, and Rippersnapper was almost named Frenzy as well. The "only one Steve" rule is hardly in play in that continuity anyway.Dead Metal wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:And I just suddenly realised something: we already have 2 versions of Aligned Frenzy:

Frenzy can be any colour he wants, next we'll get one in Ravage and Lazerbeak colours.

Yes I did, have it on DVD in fact. But matter of the fact is, they and their headmasters where such minor and forgettable characters that showed up for a whooping 3 episodes isn't actually enough for me to care enough for them to actually remember their names.
Plus, IIRC, Hasbro isn't too keen on Fun Pub letting people get their hands on unassembled figure sprues outside of the customization classes.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Metrosuplex wrote:This sweetens the pot considerably, as each micron is worth approximately $8.

The Optimus Prime + Gaia Unicron had the Micron already assembled and painted. I'm expecting the same to be done here. I'm praying they assemble S.2 correctly and not as shown in his instructions
Hopefully there will be some clarification in the toy's bio.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:And I just suddenly realised something: we already have 2 versions of Aligned Frenzy:

Toywise, yeah.Poyguimogul wrote:I can't believe no one has brought up the fact that the once and former Headmaster Chromedome has become the first to changed his "mastery" and become a Targetmaster.
Same with Treadshot going from Actionmaster to Targetmaster.
(Granted Hot Rod traded in his Targetmaster title to become a Micromaster but that was years ago, and he has sense changed back, sorta)
