Yes it's Hasbro's version of the 2010 Unicron, however it's not the same deco. So we may get a repaint of Primus, but it won't be the exact same deco as the Takara version.

Offtopic, a bit: Give my Cybertron Primus a chance to fight a worthy apponent other than Devasator. I must get my hands on that Unicron!
Ontopic: Yeah it seems to me that it's the one from the TFV book. I thought it resembeled the Armada Unicron but my eyes didn't catch that right.

I think I still like the Takara one better, but I don't think I like it $90 better. I would have been more than happy skipping the Takara version and just getting this. The only question now is whether to get this one in addition?

I'm totally getting it because I wasn't able to afford 2010 Unicron. The only thing is I'm worried it will be hard to get in Canada.

I didn't want to make a whole new topic on this, but I just read that Hasbro announced at TFCon that Amazon Unicron would be available at Costco in Canada. I am extemely excited for this.

Those who don't know who Kranix is, I recommend you go watch the 86' movie again. This is the first time Kranix is getting an official toy.

Does anyone have an idea when this will be available for purchase through Amazon? It kind of sucks that I'm checking TRU's site multiple times a day for that MP Rodimus already, and I don't really want to add another site to keep checking in on daily.

Yeah, the Kranix Minicon is a really awesome nod to the movie. I'm so excited for this Unicron. Probably even more than MP Rodimus.

Wow all this talk of Kranix is news to me! I'm glad I parted ways with Armada Unicron long ago when I first heard of the TT Unicron. Then after finally getting my hands on one I considered for another cuz of the rather cool looking package. Now its just a matter of time to buy and open one and still marvel at the other...'nuff said! ;)^

I could name them. The problem however is that I don't work with Minicons on a day to day basis so I'm still noot familiar enough with them.

Once I go full swing into Minicon collecting, remembering names won't be an issue though.

I'm excited for this for 2 reasons:

1. It apparently will be the closest thing to a G1 Reissue (not a true G1, but it fits the timelime and is more movie accurate) that we will see this year.

2. Amazon - Because they are totally online, the fans won't have to deal with this whole Toys R Us we have it available online for 15 minutes, and then good luck finding it at a store deal (I'm looking at you MP Hot Rodimus!). I think they'll have quite enough stock so everyone who wants one will get one.

I don't like the colors hasbro chose for the 2011 amazon.com unicron toy.

I prefer the takara 2010 colors on the unicron toy.

Dare I even say the armada unicron toy has better colors than the amazon.com unicron toy.

What I dislike about the amazon.com unicron toy. is the light applied yellow/orange on the robot opening chest doors. I dislike the blue colors on unicron because they look awkward & horrible.
