a while back i had a real caffeine problem from energy drinks. i gained a lot of weight, and now i cant drink energy drinks. but i found other way to get drinks, my favorites are as follows:
any mountain dew
coffee, with cream and sugar
and coca cola

whats your favorite caffeinated drink?! :KREMZEEK:

non-diet soda is essentially just as bad for you...

Esspresso, pure and simple, best way to go. Though, I do indulge in mixed coffee drinks frequently. I have found ways to limit their caloric contribution though.

I used to drink Lattes with an extra shot of espresso and lots of sugar, but since last Summer I decided to no-longer take sugar in my coffee or tee, tastes a bit weird at first but now I actually can't really stand the taste of sugar in coffee.

My top 5 caffeine drinks
Latte macciato
Coke
Cherry Coke
Capochino
espresso macciato

coffee...hands down. Be it espresso or a good 'ol cup of joe...mixed and sugary or black...

I have a severe addiction to coffee. 8-}

I cannot have caffeine... Or when I do it is seriously limited.
I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrists and ulnar nerve damage in my elbows from a prior job. Caffeine effects the central nervous system and both of the physical damages I mentioned above are neurological.

And it was not the caffeine that made the weight gain, it was the calories in those drinks. I try to stay away from unnecessary calories from soda so I now drink a lot of water.

Pepsi MAX, Pepsi Cola, Pepsi Throwback, or Wild Cherry Pepsi. NO COKE! PEPSI PEPSI PEPSI!
Mountain Dew...whether it be regular, Voltage, or White Out.

And yes, I am one of those weird people that only buys products religiously from one brand. I never mix and match Pepsico and Coca-Cola products...Pepsico ONLY.

That one is one of my faves!! You know you can still buy it, right? There's a couple places here in my city that I can find the 12pks.

I also love Mt. Dew Voltage. My fave energy drinks are Amp (the blue one) and Red Bull.

I only drink one soda a day as I had problems with drinking too much. Been doing this for 6 yrs now.

I usually go for the nontraditional sodas. I loved lime Crush, but they stopped making it :sad:

Food Lion has a black cherry soda I really like. I like vanilla Coke, but I preferred vanilla Pepsi.

Caffeine doesn't affect me much, if at all. If I need an energy boost I go for the Stacker 2 energy shots, those work great.

Only time this rule changes is when I get my hands on the Coca Cola from Mexico. That stuff is amazing.

Also, I process too many calories to care about the fat from it, but now that I'm back on my workout program, I'll be cutting back on my caffeine as I start protein again.

Dr. Pepper and Sundrop! As far as the caffeine, the only thing that seems to have any effect on me at all is Mountain Dew Pitch Black... then I go all ape-youknowwhat. :KREMZEEK:

Sorry to hear that Cyber. I was beginning to wonder about the weight gain. It couldn't have come from caffeine as it gives an energy boost. But like Cyber, I have to limit my caffeine because it contributed to heart palpatations that put me in the hospital once. Good thing I went when I did because once they start you have 48 hours to live. I don't have a doctor restriction to caffeine, it is self induced restriction. When I do drink caffeine it's usually in coffee w/ sugar and cream.

It's perfectly fine. The Coca Cola facotires there have water processing plants due to having to follow US health laws.

Also you can get bottle Pepsi from Mexico. It's freaking amazing, but is hard to come by. You have to hunt for it in Mexican grocery stores.

No way! There's a Mexican grocery store that opened up around my neigborhood. I'll have to check it.
