with all due respect to hasbro but i hope that doesnt happen. there are to many bumblee versions as it is not to mention a surpreme class. i would love to see a leader class blackout/grindor and even go back to the first movie and make a leader class bonecrusher( i always thought the deluxe version never did it justice especially when u wanna recreate the highway fight scene with prime

i get the feeling that this is a revised form of the human alliance bumblebee. the chest, legs and arms have certain similarities and with the need for human accomodation gone it may be a voyager. food for thought.....

Well, as much as I hate to say it, there probably won't be a leader Grindout, Fallen or Bonecrusher, Hasbro has said that they won't
As to the modded HA Bumblebee, that's been mentioned countless times on this thread and people have said it has elements from the Ultimate and Deluxe versions too...

Thanks to TFW member Hoolagrin who has posted a new batch of listings from the Target computer system that reveal some of the new Transformers products coming soon. Most of these like the 2-packs have been revealed already. We do get info on Cyber Ops Bumblebee which could be the leader figure we saw recently. Check out the details below:

Found these today (remember they all start with 087-06) they are listed as active with no set date and no planogram info, so they are a long way out.

Here is the new stuff that hasn't been seen yet (to the best of my knowledge)

1950 - Transformers Cyber Ops Bumblebee ~$60
0109 - Transformers Movie 2 Battle pk ~$20
1556 - Transformers 5pk combiner ~$20 (legends devastator misprint?)
1889 - Transformers DLX movie collection ~$13
1890 - Transformers DLX Collection 2 ~$13
1892 - Transformers Combiners 2 pk ~ $10 (power core combiners?)
0019 - Transformers movie 2 legends 2pk ~$7 (the ones with the universe repaints?)
2048 - Transformers Animation Laptop ~ $20

There are a lot of new numbers for leader class, voyager class, unleashed(!) turnarounds, activators (maybe new movie ones or the new cartoon?) and human alliance. I assume that means that these things will continue past the movie 2 line, or they could just be place holders for other movie 2 waves. Generally waves don't change their DPCIs so I'm leaning towards new line.

You'd think, at leader class size (or if it is Cyber Op BB, SUPREME SIZE), they could make the chest as accurate as the delux. Great as HABB is, the chest is all wrong.

Mind you, look at how they screwed up the chest on Ultimate BB...

I was just thinking remember back at Botcon when someone asked if a Leader Class Blackout could ever be in the works and then they said they had plans for another Leader Class figure for Fall of 2010? I wonder if this Bumblebee was what they were talking about if so I'm not excited about it like they said we would be. :-x

Wow. Just wow. Hey, maybe if they noticed the picture, they noticed the thread detailing how big a waste of time and money this figure is. Kids love Bumblebee, sure, but unless it's coming out NEXT holiday season, there's not going to be too many parents who're willing to spend leader class prices for another stupid Bumblebee.

Not sure if you were remarking to what I said but anyway if so I never said I wanted a Leader Class Blackout/Grindor I was just talking about what was said in the past and saying most of us seem to be displeased with this rumor or true statement of a Leader Class Bumblebee rather than be excited like they thought we would be.

Basically from what I've seen, Leader Class is supposed to be in scale with the the normal classes.
This obviously is not. With 18 Bumblebee products(and most of his toys which are in scale) it makes just about no sense for Hasbro to do this, they just aren't stupid. No one would reject the figures that everyone wants for a leader class and replace it with one that I doubt even one person has asked for.

Plus considering the HA humans seem to be the human scale, that would be one big Camaro.

Welcome to Seibertron! Sadly a Leader Class Bumblebee would sell to the younger generation. And I know there are some Bumblebee fans and just fans in general who would love to tinker with a Bumblebee in this class size.

It's a sad fate that it's come to this, I'm pretty sure Human Alliance existed just to bring out another scale of Bumblebee, seeing as the rest of the HA figures have been kindy sketchy compared to Bumblebee.

All in all, don't let the possibility of Leader Bumblebee deter you from collecting. It's just one figure that you can easily avoid buying!

If Hasbro are to make Blackout\Grindor, it should be in Ultimate Class (taller then Opimtus with motorised spinning blades)

So it's pretty clear a lot of people don't like the idea of this toy, but from the picture that was up i thought it was pretty cool. If it is real i would probably end up getting it to see how i could paint it. Even if it isn't to scale i like bumblebee a lot and wouldn't mind having a bigger, more detailed figure.

Isn't 3 leader class molds a year the norm? 2007 had Optimus, Megatron, and Brawl. 2008 had Megatron, Bulkhead and Ultra Magnus. 2009 had Optimus, Megatron, and Jetfire. 2010 We'll get Starscream, Bumblebee( :roll:

) and if the pattern continues we should get another one. I think Blackout/Grindor is the best candidate.

3 is usually the norm per toyline. It looks like we're getting another new toyline in 2010, so that might just be related to Power Core Combiners.

Yeah, I agree. If there is to be a Leader BB, I doubt that anyone involed in its production cares about the older collectors' thoughts. No line needs 16/18+ of any given character and that's clearly an instance of Hasbro doing it for the kids, which is so often how topics degenerate 'round here into being all about the kids and not so much for the pleasure of us older folks. That's true, toys are for kids, and it's all well and good, but I collect toys too.
(Stay with me, ok, I'm getting to the topic...)
I don't care for scale, and I don't care for Bumblebee, and I don't care for the movies or the movie toys. But, if a Leader BB comes out, I'd have to say it's to make the kiddies or the BB superfans happy, and all of us older collectors aren't being factored in at all. Leader Bonecrusher? That would be awesome, but Bonecrusher was so inconsequential in TF1 that no one remembered he was killed and he was seen in TF2 despite being deactivated, so how can anyone expect people other than us collectors to clamor for a LEader Bonecrusher?
I think it's an interesting idea, and am stunend that this is the first time a Leader BB has come up, but seeing that Ultimate BB was a dud, it would surpirse me if Hasbro would try that same type of water again.
