The BB Effect/Poison

Postby freaky777 » Thu May 12, 2011 9:08 am

Yes I have gotten the BB Effect/Poison. When I first started collecting transformers again it was when the movie came out, so when HA BB came I bought it and decided right there and then that's the ultimate BB, one is enough.

Then my mom kinda got me the legends class BB for Xmas. Was cool and all..

Fast forward, saw HFTD Batleblades BB on discount and got it, caused everyone (here too) said it was one of the best or the best BB Deluxe mold ever. Then fast forward again, I got DOTM Leader BB (no idea why), and finally today I gotten the Castro BB, with another gold chrome BB caused it was cheap.

So initally all I wanted was HA, now I got 5 more movie BBs. SO good job there Hasbro, I bought more BBs.

So whoever say their idea of BB is not working is not entirely true, at least for me. So how many of you are like me, started of with one and ended up with many more BB?

I have managed to only get two. I got the original movie version (old Camaro) and I got the Concept version from the first movie. I will probably buy the DTOM Leader when it comes out, but I will have to see it in-person.
Check out my collection!

Don't own a single one.

I might have something to do with the fact I don't collect the movie lines tho'!

Still control pretty well in my case. Originally I have HA and deluxe old and new Camaro BB, then sold old and new Camaro and kept HA. Only one and good enough (although I have the red Camaro Cliffjumper). However my daughter has a legend one and my son has an Activators one.

The only Movie-line BBs I have are the 2007 Deluxe "Concept" and the Human Alliance one. I might get a DOTM one. I like that new one with the jet engines.

For me, I only want the Deluxes, and only ones that significantly different. Here's my current checklist, with the figures in my possession checked off:

Main Line
H MA-03 Bumblebee (Japanese Classic Camaro, on hold. Picking him up this weekend ;))
V Camaro Concept Bumblebee
V Battle Blade Bumblebee
- DotM Bumblebee

Side Line
V Battlefield Bumblebee
V Screen Battles Bumblebee
- Crash Landing Attack Bumblebee (I want that Thrust :()
- Nitro Bumblebee

I don't have the need for anything larger. Maybe a Legend or Cyberverse to top it off, but that's it.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

From the 1st movie I have Concept Camaro, and the Classic Camaro/Battle Damaged Concept Camaro 2pk, that's it. I only got the 2pk because I never found the Classic Camaro on its own.

I also have a legends class from movie 1, but I don't really count that because 1, it's not a very good likeness in robot mode, and 2, I got it free thanks to McDonalds giving away TRU bucks in that year's Monopoly game.

Didn't buy a single BB from movie 2, can't see myself buying one from movie 3 unless something hella cool comes out.

Only got the Deluxe one from the first movie, mainly because I wanted Prime and they came in a 2pack. I have G1 BB and Goldbug though.

Primes, that's another matter entirely. MP should have been my last, but he's too big to fit the rest of my collection, and then that new one looks so good too...arg!
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I have the classic and concept BB's from the first movie as well as a legends class that came in the Scorponok 2-pack . I have HA, battle blade, and battle ops(it was $17, I couldn't pass on that) BB from RotF. I might get the nitro BB, but I don't have any interest in Leader class or any other deluxes.

Ask Razorclaw0000 or Seibertron. I'm pretty they've got 3... on the list of Movie Bumblebees that they don't have.

For me.. all I have is 2007 Movie Camaro Concept Bumblebee. It felt like I won the freaking lottery when trying to find this figure back in the Winter 2007 drought, and no other Bee since has really captivated me to buy it. Maybe DOTM will do me in.

I have four Movieverse collections, each in a different size scale. I have a BB for three of them. I don't have a problem buying different versions of the same figure if I think it's good and it serves a purpose.

I'd like to add that I'm collecting multiple Bumblebees in the same scale to witness his evolution, mainly in toy design. Even though a lot of details and design elements are the same between toys, each is unique is its own right. I don't do that with just Bumblebee though: every character with more than one iteration in a certain class is fair game.

I just wish Ratchet would get a new Voyager mold to go with Ironhide. :BANG_HEAD:

This thread got me to bust out the first movie '76 camaro bee and my god is that a horrid figure. They made great strides in movie bees over the years.

Only one movie BB mold, and that's the deluxe N.E.S.T. mold.

I know HA is meant to be awesome, but I'm not big on that size class. I do, however, have a little mini-'bee collection, with one mold from the G1, Classics, Animated and Movie continuities. Once I get a TF:Prime Bumblebee I think I'll have one 'Bee for every mainstream continuity!

(not sure on that though, so feel free to correct me!)

EDIT: Forgot I also have WFC 'Bee!
