Thanks yo! I've been hemming and hawing on actually installing that upgrade set thanks to the new Power of the Primes leader class Optimus coming, I went ahead and did it anyway. It's cool enough, and if I part ways with it anyway no big deal.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that's an awesome alt mode. Had to shave some sprue marks on the center of the rear diffuser so it stays together but other than that, tons of fun!!

AND my order from Nonnef came in the other day. I ordered a whole bunch of the Combiner Wars torso hip ratchets (4 sets), TR Brainstorm's G1 inspired weapons, TR Chromedome's G1 inspired weapons, TR Hardhead ankle/feet set, TR Mindwipe ankle/feet set, and TR Chromedome's fist/wrist set. These parts are NICE!! Here's Brainstorm.

ALSO I picked up the Megatron KRe-O Kreon Battle Changer. Haven't put him together yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Completely agree. His legs let him down. Not sure what I don't like about them, they are painted great!! But dang, that alt mode.

They're Lockdown's legs, that's why. They don't look like his legs in the movie, they look more bad guy than Bumblebee's brother.

Yeah I thought that was a carry-over from Lockdown, with most everything else remolded. An MP of this guy would be appreciated. His CG bot mode looks so much better.

Yeah I thought that was a carry-over from Lockdown, with most everything else remolded. An MP of this guy would be appreciated. His CG bot mode looks so much better.

The one thing that sort of bothers me is how different the transformation and looks is between toy and movie figure. The movie figure transformed and looked a hell of a lot like bumblebee, hence them being "brothers in arms". Movie Hot Rod had the front grill facing out, not down, he had bumblebee like arm armor, he had door wings, and more streamlined legs, and this guy does not have that. I'm hoping for a movie edition version of this guy that gets the transformation scheme right

It's crazy but when he is in alt mode I love him, and when he's in bot mode he disappoints me. It would've been AWESOME if they started with Bumblebee as a basemold!! Daaaaaaaaaaaaang it!

So, I showed off Brainstorms guns but I didn't show off Chromedomes.

Today I brought some Lambros in.

I reaaaaaaaaaaaaally have to make some room in my collection. There's so many things that need to go. I'm so lazy right now!

Yes, yes I do. I'm currently at the stupid advancing wall of doom part though.

The game if absolutely phenomenal though. Keep in mind I am very hard/picky on these types of games. Really Super Metroid and Castlevania: SotN are the benchmarks by which I measure all Metroidvania games. Samus Returns has stepped right up there with the big boys and hit a home run ;)^

But yes, let's derail and talk Metroid all day!

I can't wait to play it one day. Once day when I'm not playing Super Mario Maker again! Man that game is fun. I need to build a spectacular level of complexness.

Hot Rod is cool. I do wish he wasn't my first full size figure from the line though as I guess he's just a heavy retool and not a full new figure. I shoulda picked up that dang Nitro when I had the chance. Or Megatron. Drat.

In other super sad news, the current TMNT animated series is coming to an end. I love this dang series. In it's wake, I hope they are able to make a few more "Half-Shell Heroes" TV movies, and I've heard a new standard cell animated series is coming next year, it would be awesome if they were able to get the voice actors they currently have back!!

It'll still be there when you're ready. I'd love to try my hand at SMM, but I kinda burned myself out with that type of game with LittleBigPlanet. Countless hours of building stuff in that game. I'm sure I've linked my youtube video of the working mechanical clock I made in the first one 8-)

Yeah, the alt mode is what makes Hot Rod amazing. A voyager with a more accurate bot mode woulda been schweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet though!! I never thought of it that way, but that's kinda how I felt when I finished BotW accidentally! Sad. Couldn't believe it was over, and the adventure wouldn't be the same.

For all of it's flaws (which really is just stuff not staying where it should) I love this dang MP of Starscream. LOVE IT!! As long as he is on a hard surface he's amazing. And look at him sneering at Doctor Arkeville!! It's the same face he made when he tossed Megatron out of Astrotrain!!

Yup, that's what I'm talking about and pretty much the same result I got. Still haven't finished the 3 part yet. I was tired and jet lagging pretty bad and just haven't went back yet.

Been distracted by No Man's Sky, Diablo 3 and the Witcher 3 pretty hardcore since I've been home. A controller and a tv from the couch is just so much more comfortable than that top heavy damn 3DS.

Starscream was truly a character for the ages. As much as I love G1 Starscream, his Transformers Prime incarnation was pretty cool.

And every headsculpt there ever is of him should always have a smirk!

The aligned continuity Starscream is my next fav and or TIED for G1. He's awesome, but I have the best versions of him already :lol:
