As for the Silverstreak chatter, it made me go and buy it from BBTS. I got loud pedal a couple months back for cheap off of amazon.

I'm surprised Silverstreak is still hanging around. I thought he would have been snatched up long ago, being an exclusive and all.

You know he was the gate-way drug that pulled me back into collecting hardcore again almost four years ago now. Which also lead me to finally join up with this crazy place.
You all can blame or thank Silverstreak for that.

I'm thinking real hard.... I think MP11SS (Sunstorm) is what sucked me back into the MP ring in 2012, MP10B (Black Convoy) in 2013, the Henkei Seekers in 2008, the 2010 Unicron and Primus, and the TFTM characters released in the Henkei/United line (2008/2010). But I know I was very late to the Henkei game, but buying United figures shortly after their release.

SO:
-2010/2011, United/Henkei figures that started my hardcore Generations collection, likely instigated by Primus/Unicron.
-2012/2013, after ignoring the MP line for a while I aquired Sunstorm (being my first of the "new" MP Seeker mold) and Blacky Convoy (being my first of the "new" MP Optimus mold). After both of those, I was like "holy, they're very different from the OG's!" and decided to go to town

Hmm...well, my first entry into the franchise was Cybertron, but the '07 movie hooked me...by the third one, I was drifting away. But I think a combination of TFWiki.Net, AoE, and Thrilling 30 reeled me back in for good.

After my childhood in the 80's, my official gateway back into TFs, period, was BW Dinobot and Waspinator. I went "Hardcore" pretty much from there until my first daughter was born in 2011. I bought Silverstreak at the beginning of 2013. Soooooo, not really that long of a hiatus.

There were starts and stops though while I was die hard Star Wars. More memorable re-entry toys would be, Classics Bumblebee, Energon Powerlink Hotshot and Inferno,and Galaxy Force Vector Prime (which lead to a mad rush of back paddling for Cybertron toys).

Fun Fact: My gateway drug into the world of adult collecting was a Power of the Force Han Solo in Stormtrooper armor w/ removable helmet, ordered off the back of a Cap'n Crunch box.

Holy me too!!! Only, I wasn't an adult at the time, and I never did get THAT Stormtrooper Han. I eventually got the solo main line Stormtrooper Luke, then the Trooper Han/Luke/Chewie 3-pack. First mailaway SW figure was B'omar Monk (probably spelling it wrong) that strange spidery brain in a jar background thing from ROTJ. Then the Cantina Band Alien. But those Stormtrooper disguise figures were probably my most coveted.

But yeah. I was probably early teens, maybe preteen when POTF was unleashed and I was all up in it. And sure I played with them a little bit, but they spent 95% of the time untouched on a display. Pretty good for a kid I think

Jak, I was 19 or 20 and a sophomore in college when I ordered that Han. I'ts funny, I always remember you are older than you actually are. I'm about 8 years older than you, so you were around 12 when all that was going down.
