I forget, does Trailbreaker's (I don't know no Trailcutter) front wheels fold in at an angle in his chest or do they just sit there parallel? Actually wait, they do a 180 don't they? I do love when the front wheels fold in at a 45 degree angle into the hood that makes a chest (TFA Jazz).
TB does some amazing amount of mass shifting, no? RiD Thunderhoofer does the same.

He's nice, and I got him for a good price, but I'm just meh with both. I tried to get him to save Trailcutter (he's 'cutter 'cause he's the comic and not the true G1 'breaker to me like the CW version iscarytheone wrote:Crosscut is looking mighty fine.
Totes a 180 flippy! It's cool, and they definitely used his leg transformation style for CW and TR figures!!carytheone wrote:I forget, does Trailbreaker's (I don't know no Trailcutter) front wheels fold in at an angle in his chest or do they just sit there parallel? Pretty nice comparisons here!!carytheone wrote:Man, what's it with the all the CW TB love? I've seen it several times at the store, but it never wowed me. Just too damn much black plastic. It did come with a cool two toe HFG though.

funny you mention that review, I went there just after posting. I think it's the CW face that turns me off

Jazz is great, and I'm sad he's the only Jazz I had. BUT THEN! I realized I had others!! G1 Pretender Jazz, G1 Action Master Jazz, and Alternators Meister!!shajaki wrote:Very jelly of the G2 Jazz. I've been watching sealed G2's on eBay for like a year now and they are rare and expensive. Top of my hit list is Jazz, Starscream, and Ramjet. Prime is there too, but I already know he's gonna cost a mint![]()

I didn't take a picture (I will tonight), they are on the side table right now in the living room. Holy cats did Meister get YELLOW!! Stupid white plastics!! Handling G2 Jazz (and other G1's) kinda made me realize I want figures that are like modern remakes of G1 versions, which is why I commented on your thread about Spanner and made one for Crank!! Not "Neo G1" but definitely drawing inspiration from the original and still looking like it should animation wise. Out of the three Susntreakers, I think Spinout did that the best but apparently it is an incomplete project (meaning you have to do some work to make it good). ToyWorld Coolsville probably fits that aesthetic, but he looks more complex than he should be. I don't want another Apollyon that I transform every once in a while, I regularly throw my MP carbots back and forth between modes!!
Here's what I do have a picture of, most of the instruction manuals for figures going into the sales thread!! I brought them in so I could make a list
Crosscut and Trailcutter are included!

So here's the bots I mentioned earlier.
What's the tip for fixing yellowing? Hydrogen peroxide made into a paste with Oxiclean? It's just so weird what parts yellowed and what didn't. Clearly Alternators Meister was evenly exposed as you can see he would be. Weird..

Looking at it, I really don't think it did much. A shade or two whiter, sure. I really need the stronger gel hydrogen peroxide though. 3% just isn't doing it. Most cosmetology gels are around 13% and go up from there! That is what you just "brush on" and let it go.

Let's do a before and after. The light was better day one but time wise just about the same.
Before:
After:
You may say "his arms look great!" to which I say "look closer". I mistransformed them or misassembled them to get the whiter parts to be on top.
Here's some of the fun though..
And here's his awesome all black wheels with G2 Jazz!!
And here you can definitely see his decklid is lighter but no where near the white of the surrounding plastics.
Same thing with the areas of his forearms that you didn't see. Whiter, but not crispy fresh.
I'll show you my preferred OG look transformation shortly!

I agree, but I mistransform him a bit so his hood sticks up from his back just a bit. That and the shoulder pauldrons do a pretty good job of giving that classic Prowl look.bodrock wrote:As cool as CW Prowl is to me, lack of door wings makes me sad.

SEVEN PAGES?! Not the WeiJang, the WuKong. I think the WeiJang is more like the MP where the WuKong seems to be a remake of Hunt for the Decepticons Battle Blades Bumblebee.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:He is.
