The comics that are included in the Combiner Wars deluxes all seem to be just random. Are they in some sort of order? If so, which do I start with? Is the content exclusive to the CW series, or can I find it under another title from IDW?

Definitely not exclusive to the toy-line, the issues are mostly from exRID, The Transformers and a couple from Combiner Wars event proper. So you could just go back and read RID and The Transformers (same series, name change post-issue #34).

Thank you. I got the Stunticons, and plan on getting the Combaticons and Protectobots, but that's all. I wondered if I would miss parts of the story by not getting the Aerialbots and the Technobots, given we will get the Technobot limbs...

Not knocking the thread starter here, but boy, I've seen this asked so many times. Should we sticky something, at least while Combiner Wars toys with comics are at retail?

Yeah, I'm a bit behind on everything Combiner Wars. I'm just now getting around to actually opening and combining the figures. So I started reading the comics and they're all out of order and didn't make much sense. That's why I asked for some guide on a chronological order.

It's totally understandable dude, they hid the numbering of the books in a teensy tiny line of text at the bottom of the inside covers with all the credits/legal stuff. Didn't make it easy to find! Would have been better to do a quick bit of note text or something to make it easier for new readers like yourself.

Even many people that got the Aerialbots (and Drag Strip) are missing several issues, since Hasbro didn't start putting the comics back until the Stunticons (and Air Raid). And even then the only time I saw those in stores they were foreign versions that didn't include comics, so if I hadn't mail ordered them, I wouldn't have gotten comics until the Protectobots.
