I think we're seeing an attempt at dis-information here. I just don't see how it would be Megatron. Nemesis Prime or Motormaster, sure. Even a Mad Max-ed version of Octane maybe. But not Megatron. That makes no sense at all, even for Bay.

I call bullsh!t on this one. Even though going to Bay's vision it could be Megatron, I don't think he's stupid enough to turn one of the most recognized characters in TF mythos into a scrapheap. I'm going with Motormaster.

One reason I think is a human vehicle and not a Transformer.... it has nets and some kind of cloth material covering the trailer... those things would not incorporate into a robot mode or change

Have to agree with that, though there was something about the BullDog symbol being covered up which was MixMaster's Decepticon symbol in ROTF.

Anyhow, yeah I have to agree, this is a pretty dumb rumor...and the alt mode does not fit Megatron one bit.
Onslaught? Sure, Octane even, but Megatron? Never.

If this was *just* a rusty truck, then I could see it being WreckGar, but with the plow on the front and other stuff it looks too sinister to be him.

Maybe it involves Unicron if he's actually featured in the movie? Maybe Megs gets rebuilt into this heap as some form of punishment to show Megs who is boss? Maybe I'm thinking that out too much. The truck looks sick though, and I can't wait to see it's alt mode, whoever it is.

I've seen this truck before. And it [i]is[i] a Decepticon, It has the Decepticon/Mack Truck Dog hood ornament that Mixmaster had. It appears to be the same model of a Mack truck. Idk if this is Megatron, but maybe, dare I say it, Nemesis Prime? Who knows? We can't know for sure.

I disagree that the netted cargo necessarily negates the possibility of it being a Transformer. It would actually be pretty kickas$ to have a semi who's cargo transforms into weaponry. And they are being a little more creative regarding alt-mode/robot-mode, if you take "The Wreckers," for instance. I'm going to have to go with "The Wreckers" in fact being the Stunticons on this one, with this truck as their leader. But remember, Bay doesn't care so much about the names of our characters (i.e., Devastator), so I wouldn't put it past him to call the team we know as the Stunticons, "Wreckers," with this truck as their leader. And remember, Dempsey's character is supposed to be "dark in nature," so it should be no surprise that the cars associated with him would be Decepticons.

Only reason I can come up with atm based off how little info we have is Megatron probably joins forces with the Autobots to defeat Shockwave. Shockwave is definitely going be the big bad of the film so putting Megatron in an Enemy mine situation by the end could easily happen. He isn't going just let someone take his command from him without a fight. He might take on an alt form to blend with the autobots till it's over which he agrees to cease fire and go back to cybertron once the movie ends.

Ever since that I heard Shockwave was going to be the Main Villian, and when I saw this truck, I thought it was going to be the Triple Changer Octane, since in most continuities, Shockwave did develop the Triple Changer technology

Megatron was a Triple Changer in ROTF.

The netting could make for a neat 'ghillie coat' effect if the truck were Onslaught, but since the whole movie so far seems to be based on the Autobots Go Home episode of the G1, I'm thinking the Nascar bots are Stunticons (called Wreckers b/c Bay would think 'Stunticons' is a lame name) and this fellow is Motormaster. Since we've seen a truck that seems very probably to be Ultra Magnus, this would give him a good foil in combat while Optimus takes on Megatron.

On the other hand... RID Scourge and the G1 Optimus clone are each respectively in their own way Megatron - Scourge being corrupted by Megatron's spark, and the clone being remote controlled by Megatron - so perhaps this fellow 'is' Megatron in the sense that its some remote-controlled extension or avatar of his will.

Of course, at one point in the old series Optimus disguised himself as Motormaster, so... who knows?

In my opinion Hasbro knows we want a better version of the ROTF Megatron figure, so they changed Megs design so we don't get a better figure (they're just that evil!)

You have to take in the account that Megs was badly damaged in ROTF and had is face almost completly shot off by Optimus plus he was shot up pretty Badly by the Humans also.

I say this is Megs and you also have to look in each of these movies he as had a new alt mode.

TF 1 - Cybertronian Jet

TF 2 - Trilple Changer Cybertronian Jet & Scorpion Tank

TF 3 - Mad Max Fuel Tank Truck maybe a 3rd Alt also.

This makes sense to me also it dosent feel like a Motormaster it even feels like Megs to me.

Ultra Magnus? Are you talking about the trailer? Because it's been proven to be Prime's. If you're talking about the semi covered completely in blue, it's a placeholder for a cgi insert.

I too agree that it's gonna me Motor Master, it only make's sense seeing that there is the stunticon's...they can't combine without him

032 - I could be wrong, but I believe that what Caelus is referring to is the firetruck that some have said is Sentinel Prime, but would serve as a much more likely Ultra Magnus.

Although I believe the cars to be "Stunticons" and the truck to be "Motormaster," I highly doubt that Bay will call the character Motormaster, and will probably call the Stunticon leader Onslaught or some other name that he just happens to "like" better. And will probably continue to call the Stunticons "Wreckers" just because he thinks it sounds cool.

I caught it first, buddy. Until we get some more info, I'm gonna stick with my/Rodimus2006's theory.

Is this really that far-fetched? This is bayformers after all look at what hes done so far, wouldnt put anything past him at this point. The only 2 characters that will never be changed drastically are Prime and the one bot franchise Bumblebee.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if Megatron gets a new alt mode for this movie I will eat one of my TF t-shirts.

I just don't see it happening. He survived ROTF intact, and having the same mold will give Hasbro enough time to actually make a decent leader sized toy this time (see ROTF LC Prime.)

If they don't feel the need to change prime in any major way, why would they change Megs?
I think the main reason he got a new alt mode in ROTF is because someone realized that his 2007 alt mode was... retarded.

It could be Octane, or Motormaster, or Onslaught, but I doubt it is any of those. Octane would be a tanker truck (that tank isn't big enough!). Onslaught I think would be one of those Oshkosh M911 Tank Recovery Trucks (a BIG truck). Motormaster would probably look more cleaned up, like a custom cab-over rig.

I doubt it's Megatron. I HIGHLY doubt it.

I mean, what are the odds of a truck that's of a similar, if not the exact same, model as Optimus showing up on set with a high quality blue and white paint job (including Bay's flames on the fenders) and expensive, lovingly maintained chrome work?

Wow, first I've seen that one! Quite a few rigs popping up now... Yeah, that's even got Magnus' colors. It would be nice if that firetruck turns out to be Inferno rather than Sentinel. And call me a traitor, but I actually hope that the fuel-tank rig is the leader of the Stunticon-Wreckers. I think for a gestalt, its military look would thematically bring everything together with the militarized Nascar racers. Just picture the gestalt, bristling with the guns from those cars....

I'm not getting any sort of vibe from this truck being Megatron at all.This truck is giving me a possible Onslaught,Octane,MotorMaster vibe.Then again I've been proven wrong before. so who/whatever this is lets be thankful their in it.
