The figure you have the most variants or duplicates of thread

I'm guessing for a lot of people this will be seekers but it's surprising how much attachment we get to that one character - or will buy any repainted crap toy companies chuck at us, usually for pricey sums and region firewalled exclusives.
I've somehow never managed to complete the seekers for the many transformers universes over the years other than g1 that I don't have on hand.
With my recent addition of scrap face, reflector (or how many aliases he uses to snoop and take photos) was the current transformer I had the most of - 3x toy color box set, 1x Toon color, 1x netflix
But memory plays tricks on us and doesn't want you to remember how much money you've spent or the compulsion to pick up a fiftieth vehicon...
I'm not quite in that boat, but titans return optimus in his various shapes and forms is demanding a lot of shelf space with six in total. The weird thing about him, is that I find his bog standard release as pretty dull and was something I was only going to pick on sale. Which I did, but then got another one to sticker up.
*Zelda has reminded of the crazy amount of combiner wars and their reuses upon reuses. With out even realising it I have a new winner at Seven!
Show (with better pics than mine) or discuss your armadas of one/one that keeps getting repurposed that you just can't say no to.

Second is a multi-way tie between:
* G2 Slag (gray and green)
* G1 Scourge
* Titans Return Scourge (although I want 3 more of him)
* ROTF Leader Optimus
* The Armada Seeker mold (Skywarp and Thundercracker)
* PotP Dauros-or-Skullgrin/Liege Maximo
* G1/G2 as well as SIEGE Red Alert and Sideswipe
* G1 Mirage (the second is for my pseudo-Diaclone collection)
* G1 Bluestreak (ditto)
* G1 Ultra Magnus (Ditto, the second is being turned into a Powered Convoy)
* Classics Mirage
* CW Dead End and Wildrider (mine is made from a Smokescreeen).
* I guess the Classics Seeker mold since I have a badly-customized Seeker made from Acid Storm, and Generations Dirge.
* Titans Return Powermaster Optimus Prime in both regular and "Magnus Prime" forms
* Combiner Wars Optimus Prime and Motormaster
* TR Blurr and Brainstorm
* TR Skullcruncher and Krok
Would you count PotP Starscream and Elita as variants?
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

Yeagh, especially with me classing legends octane as a variant of prime.
Heck if people want to post or talk how they have five thousand optimus primes between fifty toy lines that's impressive and needs talking about (and probably psychotherapy) but mainly variants of just one mold.
Combiner wars is probably deceptive with the base molds being used for various characters, the copter bots may rival prime and I'll need to update that as my personal folly.

Gah, I'm going to have to uncombine some combiners for a photo -the copters have it with at least seven which ties g1 seekers (the usual and ehobby? Sandstorm with an additional three platinum coneheads that I've not included in my count to customise as me getting round to painting anything requires time and skill I don't have).

-Titans Return "Blurr" mold (5): Blurr, SDCC Brainstorm, Walgreens Brainstorm, Takara Legends Brainstorm, and Has-Con Arcee
-POTP Orthia limbs (4): Moonracer, Novastar, Greenlight & Lancer; if the massive re-tooling used for Selects Tentakil counts, then 5

...And beyond those, there are literally DOZENS of molds I've purchased in triplicate, with the earliest being either G1 Datsun re-issues or the Beast Machines Blackarachnia mold.
Oh, and I didn't count figures I've purchased and since sold off or given away. If I did, there'd be more Bayverse figures that could be listed as 4- and 5-time purchases.

Silver bolts another one that has been sneaky, with what you have and the one from Hasbros computron box set. I'm at six with a spare silver bolt for magna boss that I'll never ever complete with the price of the botcons deluxes to complete it.

Combiner wars really has surprised me in my own collection because the copters are not something I've gone out if my way to get.
I have three prime vehicon deluxes and can steal two from my sons room but that's probably cheating, but at least its a figure I've purposefully wanted duplicates of!

That's a cool idea, I'd probably do that if (realistically when) a wfc scourge gets released if I have the money. I do really like the takara/hasbro paint differences and the multiple head options.

Next up is the Armada Dead End mould to fill every slot on Unicron + two moons for Primus and one extra. So I think that's a clean 30.
I have the Bug General, two of the green, orange, and red (Amazon) versions and four Energon ones. No Bug Drone, though.
Edit: Posted this here before, but I gotta be proud of finally finishing my dead End army.

An old image of most of my Classics Seekers. Actually I never took a picture of all of them together. It's missing the Botcon ones.

It may include KOs, but it's still multiples of the same mold in my book.

Lets not include KOs to avoid the wrath of unicron and his thirty...THIRTY minicons. At least they dont take up as much space as thirty seekers would.

Do you have Nautica as well? I don't even have a single tr brainstorm yet out of the three that are available. He wasn't a priority with having the thrilling 30 voyager but I really should complete the team at some point.
My classic/rts junkticons are trailing one behind the cw copters at six in total with the first wreckgar, two from the box set with hotrod and three shattered glass.

Alas, I do not have Nautica. At the time the "Chaos on Velocitron" multi-pack was in-stock at Toys-R-Us, I just couldn't bring myself to spend $100 on the set when I only wanted her and maybe G2 OP. In hindsight, I shouldn't have passed on it, since the secondary market price on Nautica alone seems to start at $90.00.
I really do love that mold, though. It works really well for futuristic land- and air-based alt-modes, and the bot-mode body is appropriately athletic for the likes of Blurr and Arcee. I love all the different Brainstorm decos, and I even bought the WeiJiang up-scaled version. I have the Thrilling 30 Brainstorm figure, too, but it began collecting dust on the shelf shortly after purchase.

So i had it returned for Prime Master Submarauder. Few weeks later i made sure to get a Landmine with good shoulders. And later after i got Prime Bludgeon (G1 Pretender had a white gun) So i purchased a spare Landmine so i could use the white gun on Prime Master Bludgeon.

As of right now, my top 2 are:
I have 9 of the CW helicopter mold (CW Alpha Bravo, CW Blades, CW Vortex G1 and G2, CW Victorion twins, UW Megatronia twins and UW Heptar.
Next runner up would be all 8 of the Siege Seekers currently out.

Glad to know it isn't just me that has a helicopter fleet, Im wanting the G2 Bruticus so it is only going to grow at some point.
The custom tetras look great, I couldnt get the paint to take on a g1 seeker for a custom unreleased g2 color scheme so they are just in a parts box some place.
