I recently just got addicted to these guys, all I had prior was Sideswipe, and on the off chance I ended up buying Micro-Changer Superion and well now I've just been adding Kreons left and right.
Let's see your collections!

For perspective, Kreon blind bags cost $5.60US while Lego minifigures cost $3.60. Damn. Every time I want to buy a kreons, I think about how much a small piece of plastic cost, and end up buying a deluxe or nerf pistol instead.
Will get the Micro combiners for sure*. If they go on clearance.
Found these cases in the local Daiso, I saw it in US Daisos where I was there too.

It's that simple."
We built the vehicles togeters and I was impressed by the ingenuity and design. So I bought Jazz and the small Bee and we built these as well.
Then, at Winners, they had some Kreos on burn-it-in-hell clearance. The big bumblebee was at only 8$ and Starscream was at 9$. So I bought them both... TWICE. I've yet to build them. For now, I'm keeping the spare Starscream and Bee sealed, but the great thing about these is it's always good to have more blocks in hand.
Finally, Zellers is making it's final closing sales so I bought the big-ass Optimus Prime for 30$. I'm looking forward to build this monster!

I just got Bludgeon and his tank barrel is ingenious. I'm contemplating cutting the front part of his vest off because his chest decal is really nice. Has anyone done this to their Kreons?

I've done it with all my Kreons with the flak jacket. The plastic is pretty soft so it is surprisingly easy to cut. Set the vest on a flat surface, top portion with neck hole facing down. Take a sharp knife a place it inside the front corner. Apply pressure and work the knife down towards the flat surface. It comes off relatively easy, and from my experience, it doesn't leave stress marks.

And if you do it now, and don't like the outcome you can find the replacement pretty easily.

I also occasionally do other tiny little mods, like swapping Crankstart's helmet with Megatron's, and giving Megatron a back cannon:

And a better version of Waspinator's back-kibble:

Megatron looks pretty sweet. Now you've got me thinking about how to give Soundwave his shoulder cannon

Looking at the packaging for the Kreons Blind pack wave 1 that is what it looks like what they did remove the front half with Hook, Dirge, Bludgeon, Airachnid, and Insecticon. On the package it has there accessories, however the front of there vests are gone.

Got Bruticus today, he's pretty darn fun. Swapping around some parts (I can't help myself): Bruticus uses Vortex's head and Onslaught's helmet, Brawl has Skorpnok's angry face, Onslaught has Swindle's helmet, Swindle has a Seeker's, I want to get another Warpath so Swindle has a smile and big eyes.

Personally, I like to preserve the flak jackets in case I want to troop build some human forces.
Plus, these are far more versatile. I sometimes string some together to make more complex kibble. You can also slip them between the should and torso to for mounting weapons.
(I also recommend Element ID: 4211585, Design ID: 3626 -- the blank grey head for making custom faces.)

Nexus_Prime99 set up a nice little Kreon parts database here, for those interested in making customs and whatnot.
