I doubt I'm going to be anything this year, but if need be, I can get a superhero mask (Like Robin!), and an empty pizza box, and be PIZZA MAN, defender of Liberty, Justice, and unlimited toppings for $1 only on Tuesdays! I'd just need khaki pants, and a green polo shirt.

My hubby and I have been dressing up as Dream and Death for the past few years, but I can't figure out where I stashed my stuffed goldfish. If I can't find it, I'm thinking about getting a stuffed Nemo and put him in a baggie. I'll post piccies later

My girlfriend and I dressed as Harvey Birdman and Birdgirl for our Halloween party on Saturday. We had an ueber-witch and a Fairy God-is-Dead-Mother to assist with our seance to raise the spirit of Nietzsche, who arrived as neither his lucid nor his more syphilitic self but instead arose a heck of a dancer.
Highbeam, you look sooooo cute as both an elf and a pirate; I'd give it to the elf, just barely. The ears and circlet look great, and Sindarin sounds so much nicer than, "ARrrrr!"

I bought it at a party supply store over on Fullerton and Clybourne behind the McDonald's across the street from where the old KB Toys used to be. They had a bunch of costumes for sale. I'm just going to go there from now on in the future, but not wait until the last minute. I really wanted to be a pirate, but a pimp was fun also. Plus I have this costume now for future use. I think the costume plus the gold tooth, the cane and all of the bling accessories came to about $80. I also bought a bunch of glowstick rings and necklaces to bring to the party to share with my friends so that jacked it up a little bit more. Q has an even better picture of me from that night. Waiting for him to send it to me.
