And I am sure that Syko would want some serious payback for the 160k+ crystal I took from one of his colonies. I also took a fairly large amount(70k+) of metal from one of his colonies

. Too bad i Can't attack his home planet, it has 13 gauss cannons and 193 light lasers!!!.

Deep **** indeed!!! An alliance breathing down my neck and a "S" type player probing your colonies!!! Hopefully probing is the only thing that is going through that players mind. As for me, I just hope my defenses will survive an ACS attack should the "Viper X" alliance ACS me

Until you reach a certain amount of points higher than your proposed opponent I think.

Funny that, "S" players can't probe you any more than you can probe them :-?

Newb protection lasts until you have over 5000 points. Below that, if you have less than 20% of someone's points they can't attack you, and you can't approach anyone with less than 20% of your points.
Me and finalscythe are going to be building our battleships and start slamming people in galaxy 5 soon.

I'm getting probed a helluva lot recently.
Thankfully, my defence seems to be keeping away attackers.

Saving in u20 for the battleship splurge.

U37--Same old, same old. Saving, upgrading.

I thought maybe I should just upgrade the mines and the power plant thing but if you could help I would be grateful.

Work up your mines, deuterium synths and solar plants until you can get yourself a shipyard and build some light defences. Once that's done start building up a small fleet and begin raiding people ranked lower than yourself.

Be careful once you start building a fleet. AKA fleetsave when you sleep. You can see what I mean by my latest battle report on our other website in the uni 37 column.
Long story short player NKX sent 112 battleships and 5 battlecruisers to harvest my fleet of 27 cruisers and 4 battleships.

end result:
The attacker lost a total of 60.000 units.
The defender lost a total of 1.834.000 units.
At these space coordinates now float 253.200 metal and 101.400 crystal.
The chance for a moon to be created is 3 %
80 Rocket Launcher, 29 Light Laser, 9 Heavy Laser, 4 Ion Cannon, 2 Gauss Cannon, 1 Small Shield Dome, 0 Large Shield Dome could be repaired.

Thanks for the advice I should have a fleet started by tonight or tommorow because I failed to know the importance of Deuterium. I also signed up to the Alliance webpage so I'll be posting there soon.

I played Astro Empires awhile back. It sounds very similar to oGame. Unfortunately, I can't play either at work and I don't have a lot of time at home to play.
