Except for Ratchet, it seems that Prowl is the oldest member of Optimus Prime's team, and very likely older than Sentinel Prime. The episodes solves some of the mysteries about Prowl's past, though how he ended up with a repair crew is one question likely never to be answered.
It also strikes me that Jazz may be older than Prowl, since we saw in "The Elite Guard" that Jazz has had more "cyber ninja" training than Prowl and he apparently knows Yoketron. Of course, it is possible that Jazz knew Yoketron by reputation alone (as Sentinel was also aware of him) and trained under one of the latter's former pupils.
This episode was actually a good way of reintroducing Prowl's "samurai armor" from "Fist Full of Energon," without having it just reappear randomly, as was the case for Bumblebee's jets.
And one last thought: it may be possible that Yoketron is a veiled reference to Hikeai Yoke.

What are you talking about? They look exactly like their toys on the show.glazer wrote:man the jet tiwns look really nice in the show- now if they could make them look like that as the toys- i'm talkin about the wings and the tails on them both - then i would for sure buy them --
The only difference between their toys and show appearances that I could see was their transformation scheme into Safeguard. In toy form, both arms of each become wings, one legs from each becomes a leg, and one leg from each becomes an arm. In the show, both arms from each become the arms, both legs from each become the legs, and the wings just appear in the end of it all. But the end result is the same for both. I'm guessing the animators didn't quite get the memo on Safeguard's toy transforms.

not at all trying to say you are wrong about anything- i don't even have the tiwns for toys-- but i might if they make them like i saw in the show- first the wings in the show are real wings- not like the toy- from what i've see from pics. they have fire type wings(as toys)- and also in the show it shows them with two tail fins on the back- these may be small things that i'm picking out - but in the end- when it comes down to shoppin for these two guys . when they don't have the real wings and the two tail fins on the back- it makes me think twice-- sorry that just me---i bet they will have those wings and tails in future............take another look at the show- and slow it down so you can see- i think it is the part were bulkhead is holding green bumblebee- and the tiwns are coming to get bumblebee-

are those on the toys??????????????????????? if so then i stand corrected- and i will be picking them up as soon as possible -if they have the real wings and tails!!!!

I'm looking at my Jetstorm toy right now. Those tailfins are on the toys, they're just angled toward the back more instead of pointing up. As for the wings, I believe that was done in order to make their animation models not as complex in detail. These kinds of alterations/embelishments happen all the time. Besides, the toys were made first, so it's the fault of the animators that the toys and animation models aren't 100% identical, but rather like 98%.glazer wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What are you talking about? Besides, the way they look in the "Rise of Safeguard" comic, which was their first appearance ever, completely matches how they look in the show.

I thought the inclusion of Swindle as a captive was great even though he still can't move. But it looks like there may be few reasons for the Autobots to stay on earth now with the exceptions of Blackarachnia, Soundwave, and the Female Starscream who hasn't been seen since the season 2 finale. I wonder if the cons caught are gone for good or will she help them escape? Also who else thinks the Matrix is in the Magnus Hammer? I know other people think this but what about you guys? It seems every episode answers a good number of questions but leaves an even greater number unanswered.
Even though this is making the season shorter, HOORAY FOR LEAKS!
Sorry, apparently that's not allowed. You must declare whether it is the bestest figure evar or the end of Transformers as we know it, and you must do so immediately. Do not wait for actual images or facts, or you're not a REAL fan. Speculate, claim it as fact, then, if proven wrong, backpedal. There can be no other way.

I really don't care that the wings aren't completely the same in the show and on the toys. I'm cool with how they look in both. Fire wings on the toys - that's cool. Normal wings in fiction - that's fine too. I'm down with both looks.glazer wrote:dude - i was just asking weather or not you were down with the fire wings or not? no where in the post did you say you liked or dis liked them- was just wondering, thats all- no reason to get jumpy--and i do thankyou - for lettin me in on some of the detail of the toy itself....

So I take it you've seen every episode of season 3. Because you could only say something like that if you've seen everything up to the season finale, and can confirm that they make no more appearances. Or you're just assuming that they don't make any more appearances.
It's common for some shows to introduce characters early on who don't appear until later, and Animated does this quite a bit. Remember how it had Sentinel and Ultra Magnus, who didn't show up again until much later? The same for most of the Decepticons. Just because they only show a character briefly, doesn't mean it's their only appearance.
No no, I have not see them all, the last one I see was "Five Servos of Doom". What I mean was that it´s ridiculous to lay so much money and work to create new characters, and then they just show them in 5 seconds and then we never see them again(possible).Think logic:how can they actually make about 15-17 new characters (both decepticons, autobots and predacons) and then they not show them all(ordely-like a introduce) because the season have only 13 episodes(I guess), and if all new characters would be showen (orderly-not just stay in the backgrund and say maybe 2 words), they have to double the episode quantity. Or make a new season.
Of course I will gladly wait and see all the episodes first (before I say to much). But if I think logical, it´s not normally that they have the time (13 episodes-hello)to show all new fresh characters-it´s not gonna happened. If they have the time to show the new ones more then some few seconds, it´s time to show them now, because, the time is counting down. I have allready seen a few episodes and if a season only have 13 episodes, it´s not trustworthy that they show all the new characters in the remaining episodes. Some of them will show up, but who or when?Or maybe all of them show up, all of them in the same time-well that´s says it self:even if the last episodes is a tre-part one, all of the new characters wount fit in onehour episode. 17 characters-hello should they all say one word or what?I think people want more. When constructicons show up the fill a whole episode about them, not show them in some seconds like rodimus, hotshot, red alert, spittor, and the rest of them!
But of course I will wait and see!

Also, how did they spend time and money, when all of those characters were mild redesigns of older characters.
As for time constraints: Look at, say, Heavy Metal War in G1; in that one episode, they had 37 characters, not including the humans. They can fit a few new characters into 13 episodes, especially if they introduce two or three at a time.

If they keep up with the cureent trend and dont show re-runs or delay animated, then season 3 will be ending around the 1st week or June.
Kinda of a coincidence cause last year in June or July was when Season 2 ended also.
All 14 episodes of animated have been announced except the final 3 episodes.
The reason I say 14 instead of 13 is cause Transwarped is counted as 3 seperate episodes made in three parts. Also the episode "Downtown Black Out" peopel seem to have forgotten that episode also.
Here is how animated season 3 will look, also I think that the final 3 episodes left to be yet named will be a 3 part multipart episode made like "Transwarped" was.
Also when animated S3 ends its run and animated is finaly finished not unless they will continue the project on direct-to-dvd they will just be 42 episodes altogether counting the previous 2 seasons.
Animated Season 3:
29. Transwarped prt. 1
30. Transwarped prt. 2
31. Transwarped prt. 3
32. Three's A Crowd
33. Where is Thy Sting
34. 5 Servos of Doom
35. Downtown Blackout
36. Predacons Rising
37. Human Error prt. 1
38. Human Error prt. 2
39. Decepticon Air
40. UNTITLED TBA ???
41. UNTITLED TBA ???
42. UNTITLED TBA ???
There you have it the way animated season 3 will look like also I dont know the last 3 remaining episodes as they have yet to be announced as of yet.
Also the episode Human Error just screams out Sari's Origins but it could also be a bout Sounwave turning Optimus Prime and the other into human form like in the Sketches we saw previously.
Also Predacons Rising you can beat that Sari will also have a part in this cause Blackarachnia needing her key once again.
Decpticon Air I have no Idea but seems to be about the Flying Decipticons maybe terrozing the Earth somehow or laying seige to Cybertron.
For all accounts it looks like Season 3 will be ending in June.
Also if CN is no longer airing cartoons anymore they have no rights to call them selves CN anylonger.
I knew when Toonami started sucking and eventually left the air I knew it was a sign of bad things for CN.
Also I knew the channel was going downhill when they started to air movies like Jurassic Park 3 and others also.
Well after animated is overwith in June I will not be watching CN anymore anyways.
I hope that if another TF-Series does get made it will not be back on CN rather on Jetix or ABC or Nickeldeon.
I can always wait and buy the series on DVD plus I am on Netflix and also I am rent anime dvd's on the internet also.
So I can always wait until the series is released either in single dvd volumes or in sets whatever they plan to do with the next TF-Series if or when it does get made.

Since when was it stated that the episode called "Downtown Blackout" was confirmed true?Rodimus2006 wrote:All 14 episodes of animated have been announced except the final 3 episodes.

And how does "Transwarped" being three episodes make this season have 14 episodes? All that means is that there are 10 episodes after it.
That episode order is wrong. "Predacons Rising" comes after "Five Servos of Doom", followed by "Human Error, Parts 1 & 2", then "Decepticon Air". "Downtwon Blackout" is not listed. Zap2it told us so.Rodimus2006 wrote:Here is how animated season 3 will look, also I think that the final 3 episodes left to be yet named will be a 3 part multipart episode made like "Transwarped" was.

Also, "Transwarped, Part 1" was episode 30, not 29. So that whole numbering is incorrect.
As for the finale, why would it be 3 episodes when the last two were 2 episodes? A 2-part episode finale would make this season 13 episodes long, like it's supposed to be.
I'm betting that these two will be where Soundwave returns and the Autobots get "humanized".Rodimus2006 wrote:Also the episode Human Error just screams out Sari's Origins but it could also be a bout Sounwave turning Optimus Prime and the other into human form like in the Sketches we saw previously.

Jetix is gone and ABC is owned by Disney (no sense showing it on a Disney-owned channel), and I doubt Nick would take the next series.
