Well, to show off one's skill with the sword is to intimidate one's foe. Prooving that hand-held swords are better than deployable ones here was key. I tend to agree. Also, if you can show off mid fight, do it. Its fun, it pisses off the enemy to some degree, and it shows that your the dominent one when it comes to swordplay. Showcasing one's skill through artistic means before and mid fight is a practice thats gone on for eons.

Yeah, I kept expecting Prime to nonchalantly shoot Dreadwing mid-swing.

Great episode. I'm loving Dreadwing more and more, the way he wanted to kill Starscream was awesome. And the Prime/Starscream interaction was also great.

Starscream actually won this episode, he's got the Apex armor and I'm guessing he's gonna try and use it against Megatron, which probably won't end well for him.

First he's gotta get out from the bottom of the ocean. He can't fly, and that armor looks pretty heavy weighing him down down there. ;)

Thought just occurred : none of the bots have seen ss since crossfire except bulkhead who saw a clone and killed it. So wouldnt bulk think he killed screamer and tell his friends about it? Optimus doesn't seem surprised at all when he sees him.

After Bulkhead killed the Screamer clone, while he was crawling through the Nemesis' ventilation ducts (or the closest thing to being one), he overheard Megatron hear of an intruder alert that was revealed to be Starscream (actually one of his clones). When he heard this, Bulkhead's mouth opened in surprise to hear that "Starscream" was still alive and active after that beating Bulkhead thought he gave to the real Starscream. So, Bulkhead probably figured that "Starscream" survived Bulk's beating him and didn't feel the need to tell Optimus that Bulkhead killed/almost killed/thought he killed another bot.

Plus later the last clone runs past him and transforms to get out of the ship.

Meh, he's just got to get to the nearest shoreline, then deactivate the armor and use the portable space bridge to get home. Depending on how close or far the nearest shore line is, though... yeah, that could be a long walk.

*That* should have been something Bulkhead reported when he got back from his little jaunt on the Nemesis - seeing Starscream transform and fly off. There's no reason why Optimus would have thought that Starscream could or couldn't transform. Then again, one wonders if the Apex Armor would prevent even a Transformer with a T-Cog from transforming...

Bulkhead ran into the surviving clone in the landing bay on his way out, too.

None of this matters now because Wheeljack and Ratchet are about face Sounwave, and I'm guessing Bulkhead will face Megatron. If so, Bulkhead is gonna need help.

I dunno, Bulkhead's held his own against Megatron fairly well a few times before. His raw power is his best hope of beating Megatron, if he can catch him off guard.

I recall fights they've had in "One Shall Rise - Part 1" and "Orion Pax - Part 3" (though, the latter had him fight along with BB and Ratchet, but he still did pretty good on his own).

It's more based on a process of elimination.

"Tunnel Vision" - Arcee and Bumblebee vs. Knock Out

"Triangulation" - Optimus Prime vs. Dreadwing vs. Starscream

"Triage" - Ratchet and Wheeljack vs. Soundwave

So that leaves Bulkhead to fight against Megatron in "Toxicity".

more than likely your right. I would like to see them go another way, perhaps mech being involved or a alpha insecticon(a sub leader in their group that starts to stand out, which I know doesn't exist I just want one). just musings because I think megs can hand bulkhead his well head and it would be nice if they veered 45 degrees from where we expect them to.

In Episode 40: Triage, after we've learned that Laserbeak will be killed by either Wheeljack or Ratchet, is it very likely that Rumble and Frenzy will be finally making their debuts, since we now know that there is a Transformers: Prime Rumble action figure that is set to be released in October 2012? :CON:

When did that happen? I thought the description only said that Laserbeak went missing, opening an opportunity for WJ and Ratchet.

One, nowhere were we ever told that Laserbeak "dies", only that he gets "disabled", which could mean a number of things (damaged, vulnerable, occupied, etc.).

Two, as for Rumble showing up, we know nothing. Though, if he were to show up at all, it's likely that he'd be in the body that his toy has him in, which is a full-sized car Transformer instead of a little Mini-Con Deployer.

Three, there's been no mention of Frenzy at all.
