Yeah, but when you hear the two side-by-side, the difference is still noticeable (and WFC Soundwave had such a bad-A-double-S voice).Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I'd rather Isaac C. In the end, it doesn't really matter. If you can do that guttural Dr. Claw voice, then you're just a short synthesizer away from doing a spot-on Soundwave.
Incidentally, I can do that Dr. Claw voice.

Shadowman wrote:-Whatever that site was meant to do, it isn't working for me.
Yeah, but it still sounded cool and unique enough to me.Shadowman wrote:-This difference is noticeable, but not extremely noticeable. Like I said, behind that much synthesizer, and with the right voice, nearly anyone can sound alike. Issac Singleton didn't play Soundwave in any special way, he did the flat, emotionless style Welker used.
I don't cuss. I didn't want to say/use that word, but couldn't think a good enough synonym that had the same level of connotation as it.Shadowman wrote:-We can say ass here. No one will blame you for it.

Yeah. It just won't load for me. The only unique Soundwave was the one in Cybertron, every Soundwave since has been an attempt to replicate G1, WFC Soundwave especially.Sabrblade wrote:I don't cuss. The whole page or just the sound clips?Shadowman wrote:Yeah. It just won't load for me.
Probably. Might be your connection speed or something. It's a great site for voice actor/character voice info.Shadowman wrote:I have no clue why, the problem is likely on my end.
Yeah, but it just sounded... "darker" to me.Shadowman wrote:The only unique Soundwave was the one in Cybertron, every Soundwave since has been an attempt to replicate G1, WFC Soundwave especially.
I simply don't like cussing. Never have, never will.Shadowman wrote:No one's judging you for it. Except me.

Bummer. Hope it's something you can fix. Like I said, that site is awesome.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The whole page or just the sound clips?Shadowman wrote:Yeah. It just won't load for me.
Just the sound clips.
I'm one of those who has an ear for distinctive voices. That voices matches the typical Soundwave-type voice, but I could tell that it wasn't an exact match even before I found out who the actor was.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, but it just sounded... It didn't to me. It just sounded like plain ol' Soundwave.

I guess it helps that WFC Soundwave is a different character from G1 Soundwave, and since he was voice by Isaac C. Singleton Jr. instead of Frank Welker, he has his own voice that isn't merely the same voice as G1 Soundwave.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I'm one of those who has an ear for distinctive voices. Same here, what I meant was that while I could tell it was a different voice, he didn't do anything different with it. Slightly different voice played exactly the same way.

I didn't know it was out. It must have just been released. However the last episode was a filler and at this point we should not still be having fillers at all.

Interesting fact, this episodes continues on from the previous one. So no, it wasn't filler.

NO in the last episode (episode 20) Starscream decides to fly solo and be on no ones side. And episode 21 speaks nothing that. They again are trying to obtain a "MacGuffin" that gets destroyed. So no it did not pick up. This is what Im mean. They have something significant happen and then they drop it for several episodes (several weeks/months in this case) and no one makes any reference to it the following episode.

The last episode (Episode 21) involved Bulkhead getting his head overloaded with a data cache containing the formula for synthetic Energon. This episode (Episode 22) involves Ratchet making synthetic Energon out of what he could salvage of the formula.

Unanswered =/= Filler. Just because they didn't answer it right away doesn't mean they won't answer it ever.
Airachnid's story has more or less finished, she's full-time Decepticon now, unless Megatron killed her or kicked her out for letting Starscream get away.
And as for Partners, you really think an episode that details Starscream switching sides, then going independent is filler? "Filler" would be an entirely self-contained story, and I will sell my own left arm if they don't revisit that.
