do you do any writing for TF wiki? I swear their entry for Pretzel Logic was blank last night, and now they have the characters up. Probably just starting to ad info because it is such a new episode.

Initially I thought "Mighty Big trouble" might introduce the combiner toys for RiD15 we have seen are coming out, but now we know the plot is another hunt for the relics story....it may just be another larger than average Decepticon, but likely its Starscream. Clips from the first 3 episodes were shown in the teaser shown at SDCC, including a shot of him at the end, so I'm guessing perhaps this is Starscreams official introductory episode...[/quote]

Well it stands to reason, as we heard his voice near the end of this episode ;)

Agreed actually. You are absolutely correct. I jumped the gun.

The only reason why I thought it was showing new episodes was because TVG doesn't make any specific mention of the specific episode airing on the days it is on. Also, this is the first time since the finale I've seen it pop back up on the schedule rotation. So I thought it was safe to assume it at the moment that there were new episodes coming. I was wrong to do that, oops. Definitely not a confirmation and that was me jumping the gun and being a bit excitable. Apologies. #-o

Either way though, cool it's going to be back on the daily rotation.

Arian of TFW2005 has put "Mighty Big Trouble" up on Amazon Drive.
You'll have to download it though, since Amazon Drive cannot play videos that are longer than 20 minutes.

Just watched it, it was amazing

as we expected....YES! Starscream's in this, dunno who his other 3 sidekicks are though? or what their alt modes are? great minicon fight in it, annoying that it's a two parter, great to see Prime turn up at the end, oh btw if the Dark Starsabre is here....i wonder if Megatron is too? maybe buried under the ocean as well?

No. Last time we saw Megatron, he went on a self-imposed exile deep in space after the "Predacons Rising" movie. And according to Fixit in 'Portals', he's currently "light-years away".

Based from what we've just seen, is Starscream racist to animals, after what Predaking, Skylynx, and Darksteel did to him in "Predacon Rising"? :CON:

Well a hell of a lot sure did happen there. Nothing I didn't expect to happen - aside from the Dark Star Saber - but I certainly didn't expect it to happen so quickly within one episode. Scavengers are practically done for, the Mini-cons are free, Starscream's back, Optimus is back, there's a hostage situation... this episode really wasn't short of content.
And yeah, that Dark Star Saber... really? Like. No-one went looking for it after TFP? It's only one of the most dangerous weapons known to Cybertronian kind. And even if they did go looking for it, when they failed they just figured 'eh, whatever; not that big a deal' and left the planet without keeping watch just in case? Aaaargh. It's nice to see it show up again but every time a cool callback like this happens it always brings up more and more questions.
Hopefully they'll explain what happened to Starscream after Predaking attacked him.

In any case, good episode! And it was nice to see the twist of the obviously-shoved-in-kid's-lesson-of-the-day not get resolved by the end of the episode and actually factor into the plot and character a little bit.

You claimed that the Scavengers were killed by Starscream. Wrong. Look at the episode again. Starscream may have thrown the Scavengers into the sea, but they are certainly not killed or caught. Since that crabs and lobsters do know how to swim, I believe that Clawtrap and Therimdor will find a way to save their friends by getting them out of there. Furthermore, this may likely the debut of a brand-new shark-like Con as predicted earlier, as it was confirmed that voice actor, Christopher Swindle, will be voicing a Con with big teeths and fins. Then, following after that, the Scavengers will likely engage in combat with Starscream's men for being racist to animals. To me, I think that Starscream is racist towards animals. Do you? :CON:

I didn't say they were killed, though admittedly it was poor word choice. I simply mean to say that they're no longer the main threat; they've been put out of the way (though nigh-inevitably setting up a future return) so Starscream can take the stage.

And I didn't really see any implication that Starscream's racist to animals, I don't know where you're getting that from. No slurs or disgust relating to their shape/alt-modes or anything like that. He just beat them up because they were in his way.

Great episode. It was awesome to hear Steve Blum again, and I like what they've done with Starscream. This will be an interesting 3 parter (yes 3: there are only 6 episodes in this "Season"

It was originally believed that Megatron and Starscream were main villains for this series. But because this is a continuation of the Prime, at first, Megatron officially quits being a leader of the Decepticons and Starscream was believed to be killed. At the time, no one is available to take their places. As a result, Hasbro decided to make Steeljaw as a spiritual successor to Megatron, and Thunderhoof to Starscream. Now that they're finally being taken back to Cybertron and put them in a prison, I'm now glad to see Starscream be the main boss of this series, just as he should have been in the first place, even though I'm not a fan of him. Now that Megatron is still alive out there somewhere, I do believe that he'll also return in the upcoming season, since that Frank Welker will return to voice acting in the Transformers series. It should also be noted that Troy Baker, and Andy Milder, who played Steeljaw and Quillfire, also will be doing voices in the upcoming season, which could likely be the return of previous Cons in the previous seasons. Well, we'll just have to see how that actually plays out. :CON:

Steve Blum has been the voices of Polarclaw, Ransack, Backtrack, and Aerobolt, so he's been back before now.

watched on Youtube last night, was just too tired to come post until this morning. S2E17 "Mighty Big Trouble", was actually very good, almost TF: Prime level good. Definitely the best single episode of RiD15 thus far.

Picking up the Dark Starsaber, nice homage. Loved the Intro to Starscream, with his own team of mixed individuals-Vehicon (Shadelock), Insecticon (name???), and an Autobot!@! Roughedge. cant wait to see more of these bots. Seeing Slipstream and Jetstorm hold their own against the weaponizer mini-cons was a pretty cool fight and of course the triumphant return of Optimus!. Good stuff! This show took a big step forward, hopefully they keep it up as in some ways its finally starting to feel like a genuine follow-up to TF Prime

very much looking forward to next week.

Actually this is just the next block of episodes (episodes 14-19 of season 2)...not a "short season 3" as most believe...Even TF Wiki, and Wikipedia cant seem to figure this out for some reason...don't know why...its pretty obvious...we'll probably get another block of 7 episodes in a couple months to actually finish off season 2. Mid season breaks, even in animation are pretty standard now.

Indeed. As I said before, "History Lessons" wasn't much of a "premiere", and this season is still rolling with the mini-con subarc and the Prime reprisals reappearances (I'm good at English and know the definitions of all words) of the previous 13 episodes. Therefore, it does feel like the remainder of season two rather than a third season. Although, I'd really prefer some official word from the show's staff on it so that there's a definitive answer to this.

Funny you should mention that. I dont collect any of the toys for RiD (my son has 2 deployers and some mini-cons but...) I heard about some SNAFU with getting Paralon (TRU exclusive) out before Scorponok. I actually just started seeing Scorpnok at 2 local Wal-Marts. --Just wondering if Scorponok, or any of the RiD figures have been declared rare, or low production run?

Funny you should mention that. I dont collect any of the toys for RiD (my son has 2 deployers and some mini-cons but...) I heard about some SNAFU with getting Paralon (TRU exclusive) out before Scorponok. I actually just started seeing Scorpnok at 2 local Wal-Marts. --Just wondering if Scorponok, or any of the RiD figures have been declared rare, or low production run?

I don't really know. Every minicon from wave 3 and 4 along with Crazybolt are impossible to find. And then Starscream, Paralon and the white Power surge prime come out of nowhere with no warning.

It's all a confused mess. And then the US still doesn't have the air dates for the new episodes even ready yet

I found a few of the newer minicons (not sure which wave they were...they were all Cyclones) at TJ Maxx, but "discounted" to $6.99, there was no way I was paying that price for them.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Would you maybe be able to identify if they were any of these guys?

Lord knows many of us (hint hint: D-max) have been searching for them and images of them in stores for ages.
