Sky High is pretty awesome. One of the best "regular" pretenders. However, at 80$CAN taxes included, I was REALLY lucky. A 100% complete one usually go for over 150$US plus shipping and customs (if aplicable). Same thing with any small pretenders. You'll just have to hunt around and be lucky.

No gold plastics here. It's CHROMED DIE-CAST METAL!

For that price, I prefer a complete G1 Abobinus though. The missing helmets and wings hurt a lot. Oh well, one day, I'll have the 2K$CAN needed for a complete in box Metalhawk.

Yeah, it's true hunting the remaining accessories would be a pain and either impossible or expensive-- but it's certainly a cheaper option!

After having played with Legends class figures in the large shell Pretenders though, it still would be fun to use the shell for pics....but it's too expensive for just that. ;p

Be patient. I bet you can get an empty Metalhawk shell for "just" under 100$.

Any one with suggestions for anything close to his original sword/shield/rifle?

LANDMINE IS HERE!

It was expensive at 80.50$CAN shipped from the USA, but it was ironically the same price I had paid from my local geek shop if I count taxes. Too bad his was missing TWO accessories.

So the one I got have the common gray paint rub, but I've seen worse on many others. He do have all (or most of) his stickers. So that's perfect.



Finally, the Prime Master have his "daddy".



As usuall, the "vehicle" is the bot just doing yoga. I've seen better.



TlDr; Landmine is only very average as far as pretenders go. Still, I'm still glad to have him.

I liked landmine in the masterforce anime, where he was lander, and a bit of a ladies man. The inner robot transformation scheme was repeated a few times wasn't it

You could still import the shell from Greece. The overall price including your very cheap inner bot would not be that bad.... As long that you give up on the tidbits.

Yup. At least get the bare minimum look. At least the guns are standard 5mm and 3mm ports. Something else can always fit. Not the helmet though. So yeah, going for the shell+helmet listing is a smart move.

Shame you don't have that knights of unicron sdcc set from a few years back, they would be a great back up band.

I've been wanting that set for quite some time -- I may just have to try and trade towards it to offset dat price so more fun pics can be had.

Too bad so many "human" pretenders have their face covered up by their "turtle neck" armor. No celebrity cameos for Sky-High and Landmine.
