I had read somewhere that the promo code was a mistake, not to be used on exclusives. It also said that anyone who used the code would get an email offering them the figure at regular price?
EDIT: I found where I read that:
http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/UPDATE_McQuarrie_Concept_Luke_Skywalker_Coupon_No_Good_106329.asp
Yeah, HTS sent out an email to everyone who tried to use that coupon code for that figure. Which is funny, I don't remember seeing anything on the item's page (then, or now that it's out of stock) saying that you couldn't use the code. I meant to clarify what I said there... I tried to place yet another order for some extra SW figures (just regular TSC figures) but the coupon code didn't work. Ah well... I just picked up half of what I was going to buy at Target today...
AT-AT Driver
Death Star Gunner
and
Luke & R2 comic pack
Target had two of those sets this time, but in both sets, R2's right leg is all wonky because someone at Hasbro is a moron and can't create packaging.
I love my R2-R2, hehe. The Luke, I am so tempted to remove all that damn blue spray app and paint over the red eyes. It's kind of interesting though, so I'll leave it for now. Maybe I should have bought the Han & Chewie pack while I had the chance...

Freaking gold, man. Can't wait for that episode.
Went out this morning to look at the June 2nd Transformers displays, ironically I only bought 1 transformer.
I did however score some star wars stuff:
Also snagged an ObiWan/Alpha clone comic pack that I forgot to include in the pics.
I saw both Biggs, the x-wing pilot and civilian, but left them for a later day.
And I have to say, the TAC Legends SA ROTS clone looks really nice with the clean white deco.

Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Incidentally, I can't see if anyone has brought this up yet, but...http://muppetnewsflash.blogspot.com/2007/05/disney-to-produce-exclusive-muppetstar.html
May 25, 2007 marked the 30th anniversary of Star Wars; and as part of the festivities several representatives from Disney's merchandising division took part in an exclusive panel discussion at the Star Wars fan convention "Celebration IV" in Los Angeles. Their presentation covered the history and future of Disney/Star Wars cross-merchandising. Disney gave fans in attendance a "sneak peek" at a slue of new Disney/Star Wars merchandise. And one of the many items show is sure to excite Muppet collectors.
Disney gave a glimpse of an upcoming series of action figures of Disney Characters dressed as Star Wars characters – such as Mickey Mouse as Luke Skywalker, Donald Duck as Han Solo or Goofy as Darth Vader. But one similar upcoming product they have planned is a Muppet/Star Wars gift set which will feature six well-known Muppets as characters from the Star Wars saga. The planned figures include Beaker as C-3PO, Fozzie Bear as Chewbacca, Miss Piggy as Princess Leia, Kermit the Frog as Luke Skywalker, Gonzo the Great as Darth Vader (or Dearth Nadir as known in the Muppet-universe) and Rizzo the Rat as Yoda. The panel at "Celebration IV" even shared some concept art for the figures (see below).
This box set is planned for release later this year; however the product will be sold exclusively at the Disney Theme parks' gift shops (the shops tied to the Star Tours theme ride); they may also become available through online retailers as well. I'll keep you posted as the development of this, and other, Muppet merchandise evolves.
I'm tempted to track these down just to finally have a Derth Nadir figure.

The Ob1/AT pack kind of pisses me off, the helmet, instead of being made of hard plastic like the other removable helmet clones, it's the flimsy plastic kind. Plus it's really form fitting, half the time you can't take off the helmet without pulling off the clone troopers head.
That, and I'm confused as hell about the severed head accessory that comes with the pack.

If you have the clone trooper from the evolutions pack, you can swap the head with the arc trooper from the comic pack. That will solve the problem of the helmet pulling his head off.
The extra head for ObiWan is supposed to be some kind of Sith torture mask, even though you don't see it in the comic included in the pack.

It's a mask Ventress puts on him while he is captured on Jabbim.

Also saw Saesee Tinn's starfighter, was going to pick it up, but I wasn't sure if it came with a Tinn figure or not. I figure it doesn't, but that will be the decider whether or not I go back and pick it up.
