1. anyone pro or con to this pairing?

2. while the shippers (me included) are adamant in the pairing... i have to admit that the show (armada...damn superlink writers torpedoed that pairing...the damn autobots always get the fleshie females) has 0 scenes of romance. what they do have for each other is trust and respect, not love.

I'd compare them to the sanger somvold-sophia nate pair of super robot wars. he respects her genius and determination, she respects his strength and dedication.

though sanger's line of "i am the sword of sophia"(usually he uses "i am the sword that cleaves evil") is akin to alexis being the one to make starscream decide his course of action on cybertron.

maybe there is, maybe there isn't anything there...stupid superlink writers.

Well, while I haven't seen the show myself, the impression that I get from the fanfic writers seems to imply that they don't find a human/Cybertronian pairing too cozy. Usually she is already a robot or gets turned into one, or they make Starscream human. If they do have them as a human and robot, the relationship is celibate. While I don't mind that the Autobots get the female fleshies, unless she is either made bigger somehow or the Decepticon mecha is shrunk, they can't really do anything aside from make googly comments at each other.

If you follow the context of the entire show, I'd imagine that there wasn't anything there, but that he was just 'playing' a side for a while.

As a connoisseur of odd and unlikely romantic pairings I guess I'd say pro, but I wouldn't personally go any further than platonic love. As far as my favourite character pairings go, this one would be at the bottom due to the fact that Starscream is a giant robot.

the fact that a giant robot has shown much interest on her would probably be a big thing for alexis...considering at least one of her human male friends is more attracted to a hologram of a (long since dead) girl and they didn't invite her to a swimming party.

seriously, wth are those guys thinking?

I support them more as friends than as a pairing. Bu-ut if I find a good fanfiction of these two, I'm most likely going to read it anyway.

It's just kind of hard to think them as a couple as another one is a human and another one is a giant alien robot.
