Absolutely. I did much the same with my BW toys back in the day. I used to hold out hope that my favourite toys would debut in the show... Waiting each new episode for the cast to double, triple. Not really knowing the logistical realities behind the limited cast, during my formative years.

As for the other point, a TF line HasTak would never make... one without a Megatron or Prime

Ah there wasn't a prime or Megatron in the power core Combiners line and I think Universe 2.0 didn't have a prime or megs in either As Hasbro thought they'd covered those two in Classics.

Optimus and Megs in each chapter is unavoidable because those two are line sellers. But at least, they would be COMPLETELY different from each other. Also, it would be interesting to see the leaders fight among themselves to see who is the "true" leader... Especially for the Optimusses.
Oh, and to make things more interesting, even if the toys are not part of the line, the Movieverse could be in as well. Now let's see how the toon Optimusses would react toward the he pure savage BRUTALITY of Movie Optimus.

As I said, the asterisk for that being it isn't something "HasTak would NEVER make" ala the topic of thread.

I'm sure there are some fans, somewhere, that would love an entire line of a Prime or Megs figure. With various redecos, given the names of "Starscream", "Bumblebee" etc

Yeah, an entire line without the Big Four, meaning Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream is something HasTak will never make.

Hot take, but I don't think part three of WFC will have a new Megatron. Maybe a Walmart redco of ER Megs or something (Walmart does seem to love their Megs redcos), but not a new one in the main line. I think his place will be taken by a new Galvatron.

Rodimus and Galvatron Should be the leaders of a "Future" based chapter of any G1 based Transformers story. That's who they are, after all. The faction leaders of Tomorrow.
Whether that actually happens or not...

Looks like it would be an off roader maybe. Also you don't need the matrix to be the leader in Japanese continuity. Fortress Maximus, God Ginrai, Star Saber and Dai-Atlas all were supreme leaders of the Autobots without the matrix.

You know what I still want and Flame Toys sort of gave but its not the same? Autobot Megatron, I know Combiner Wars Megs was supposed to be a nod to it, but I want a better transforming figure. Heck if Hasbro wanted to be really lazy. Just redeco Siege Megatron. Just add some tooling to the fusion cannon so that it opens up to reveal med kits and there you go, a passable attempt at Lost Light Megatron (presumably before he gave himself over to the Cybertronian council so they could execute him. Or at least one of the versions of him)

3P made a young "pit fighting" miner Megatron. It's awesome but I want HASTAK to make an official version. As you say, a Select heavy retool/repaint of the Earthrise figure may do the trick.

And yeah, I really want a proper Autobot Megs. That could also work from the extremely versatile Siege tooling.

@Tigerhawk: Hosehead from Hardhead? What sense does that make? Wouldn't you rather have the 1988 Headmasters done properly?

Wrong! Hasbro has said CJ won't be redecoed/retooled into Bumblebee.

Now now, Bee could have been a shell former via a legend sized Bee action master that crouches down and the hover car alt mode shell placed on top. Genius of that take would be that he could also stand atop the shell and ride it like a hover board, like people were doing with Siege Starscream in detaching him from the kibble

IIRC, Hasbro never said that Bumblebee wouldn't be made from that mold, they just said it was designed with Cliffjumper first in mind. They might have said that Bee "isn't upcoming" or something like that, but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen, particularly in the next line. Or maybe I'm just misremembering.

Something else we're not going to get: The generic TF of whom two are seen on TR Repugnus' box, the one that looks sorta like a mashup of TR Quake and Full-Tilt (However, I will be trying to develop a papercraft kit based on that one, because it's a cool design that I think would make a good troop-builder for people).

Oh, and here's a pipe-dream I was reminded of by another thread: Armada Tidal Wave redecoed in blue and white, with his gun turrets and the three circles on his head crest painted gold. Because his robot mode looks like a jacketed naval officer (the turrets, which end up on his chest, are the jacket buttons).

Injector is the ugliest Transformers ever... And I LOVE it! There's a charm to it that others don't have.
I wasn't around in TF collecting when Injector was that infamous shelf-warmer. So I never grew to hate the guy.

Also, a wasp-pirhana, that's one nasty and deadly combo right here! How come this can't be cool?

One thing for sure though. HASTAK will never make at least a Generations update of BW Injector.
