You probably got Nemesis Breaker because you were excited for the line at the time and wanted to get Megatron's combination partner.
I wouldn't say the Leobreaker mold is bad, but when it ran afoul of budget cuts I really wish it was the soundbox that got the axe rather than the original legs. And I also really wish the 3P upgraders would give him some attention already, it's been 15 @#$%ing years.

Next question: Did you find Dark Crumplezone's fins when you opened the box, or are you one of the unlucky bastards who overlooked them?
WANT:
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

**** you're pushing the memory there.

I remember something about them, I think I got lucky because Ryan said something about them ... I think.

I don't know, would you stick his upgrade, Mirage, on a Mirage shelf? Kinda answers itself, right? ;)

Hey, something just occurred to me. Sort of piggybacking off the question of which is the better Tidal Wave color: If Hasbro did decide to do a Titan Tidal Wave which color would you want him to be in? If you want cartoon accuracy then you go with Japanese Micron Legend colors, but if you want something like from the PS2 game then you have to go with Armada colors. Though I'm sure some would be happy with Energon colors since he was massive there. I'm not sure which one I would go with, I think I'd be fine with either Micron or Armada, though I'm leaning a little towards Micron.

Yeah, but Tidal Wave was at least purple in addition to the name. Super-Link Mirage was a freaking boat that wasn't even blue and white. But I get the point.

Well, I would think it would have to be Armada colors, because that's what's most well-known, right? And then if they had any sense they would redeco him as an exclusive either in the purple, the white/gray, or both. And he would be big enough in Titan size that his troop carrier part could actually carry legends figures if not deluxes. And in warship mode he would take up a lot of room.

If they were to do a Titan Tidal Wave, how do you think they might go about giving him a base mode?

Frankly though, I wouldn't want a Titan TW in any color scheme because I'd rather have Legion-size versions of the rest of the cast than a Titan-class Tidal Wave. Hasbro needs to do some sort of mixed gen "Tiny Transformers" line.

Well, if he'd been a separate character like he was originally supposed to be (before the Japanese show writers repurposed him as an upgrade of TW, hence the Japanese name being "Shock Fleet") he might have had a stealth gimmick to justify the name more instead of just being a trademark benchwarmer.

I'll reiterate that thinking about it, the name "Shockwave" is actually more appropriate for a guy big enough to make the earth tremble beneath his feet than it is for a raygun/laser tank guy who only has the name because it sounded cool. Although on that note, any connection to other Shockwaves is doubtless coincidental, since both G1 Shockwave and Energon Shockblast are known as "Laserwave" in Japan.

Leobreaker won't be too bad. The Wing Sabers though...
Also, I just checked and I was wrong. Currently Cybertron Wing Saber is being the weirdly rare one on eBay. The Takara version (which is of course more expensive) outnumbers the Hasbro one. Granted, if you don't mind dropping a bunch extra just to have a gold-chromed chestplate... but still.

Keep an eye on both eBay and Transformerland, and also try making a Want post.

Got quite the badass haul from Seibertron and Counterpunch. seibs got me the Wing Sabers, CP the Primes and Ratbat.

As far as I have played so far, every single one of these toys is ridiculously fun. Gotta combine Cybertron Prime and Wing Saber, but the Energon combination is really good. Energon Prime in super mode is far more fun than I anticipated!

Year of The Horse Optimus, I believe. EDIT: No, Year of the Snake.

D-Max, Cybertron Wing Saber's wings are supposed to be folded up except when he's combined with Optimus.
And oof, he's also obviously missing some parts: Both missiles, 1 launcher and one sword blade... Does he at least have the sword hilts and Cyber Key or are those MIA too?
If that was Seibertron's own Cyb. Wing Saber, no wonder he doesn't have a gallery yet.

Thanks guys! I was thrown by the colour scheme. Shame I never got that release. Would have loved Energon Wing Saber.

@ZeldaTheSwordsman, just because he got it from Seibs doesn't mean it was from his personal collection, he runs an eBay shop as well you know.

And speaking of Year of the Snake, Energon Omega Supreme was done in that deco as well. But I never cared for that figure, I didn't like how he transformed.

Personally, I loved Energon Omega Supreme, there's not enough tf toys that transform via Symmetrical docking, and I always got macross vibes from the fact that one of his hands was the front of a battleship.

You guys got the "year of-" Prime part! I far prefer this color scheme to original, it is really cool looking.

As for the wing Sabers, I asked Seibs about his complete Energon one, and then asked if he had Cybertron Saber or Leobreaker, to which he had this Saber, who is mostly complete, and that was OK with me, it is really hard to find a complete affordable Cybertron saber. So I was cool with it. Plus he gave me a truly rocking deal on the Sabers.

As for the figures themselves:

Galaxy Prime is super sweet, he lives up to the hype surrounding the mold. saying "Optimus Prime: super mode!" and doing the super mode transformation was super fun. And he's a big boy. I love him a lot.

Energon Prime: lot more fun in person than i was anticipating! Base robot isn't really good, but combining him with his drones or Saber is really good. I like the wing flight mode for his combo with Saber. He is ultimately worth it, I was nervous to get him, but Counterpunch gave me a great deal for the Primes and Ratbat, so it was even more worth it.

energon Saber is a big boy, makes me really think of Overload a lot, I love the colors and the aesthetic, he can stand on his own really well, and i think he works so good as limbs to prime. I can't wait to take pictures of the powered up Primes from all 3 parts of the trilogy together.

Cybertron Saber is also really dang cool. I had the wings out like that to get more shoulder movement, it works either way for me. He is a great standalone figure too, he's pretty dang impressive. I can't wait to combine them and see that chest on Prime.

Ratbat: this is an impressive deluxe figure, reminds me a lot of the best of the RotF toys, it's really solid, posable, and just fun.

Overall, all 5 figures are really good, and I could not be happier with the hauls. I am loving all the new Unicron trilogy toys i've gotten, haven't really gotten a stinker at all, they've all been really good and strong!
