Now, let me tell you the fact that gives me the idea: Soundwave, in the transformers movie, has loyalty to pick up megatron after his fight with prime.. but here is the error: When strotrain said "We'll have to jettison some weight" or something similar, megatron's almost dead body is THROWN OUT. Soundwave has the loyalty to carry him to astrotrain, at the risk of being called gay, but he DOESNT PORTEST WHEN THEY THROW OUT MEGATRON!!Note: unicron could have been near enough to be spotted by a decepticon peering out the window. Soundwave would have been in the right place to notice a unicron shape, and the fact that he let megatron be thrown out is not loyal at first. BUT SINCE SOUNDWAVE IS ULTRA LOYAL THEN HE KNEW THAT UNICRON WOULD TURN HIM INTO GALVATRON!!Remember Cybertron, the Show? SOUNDWAVE ALLIED WITH UNICRON! So that could mean, that cybertron soundwave came first, and G1 soundwave second!THAT IS TRULY IMPOSSIBLE.So that means that soundwave has TOTAL AND UTTER CONTROL OF UNICRON.It was all his plan.Tell me what you think.

I'm afraid I don't see it. Unicron is a multiversal singularity, who can travel freely between dimensions. G1 Soundwave is one of a multitude of Soundwaves across many different dimensions, and while he can change size and has access to subspace, the same can be said about a multitude of characters.

Soundwave's allowing Megatron to be tossed out of Astrotrain was just Soundwave exploiting an opportunity; taking the path of least resistance.

Not really what i think. soundwave, if has not a control over unicron, he might not have survived. Also, while many different transformers can shapeshift, like shockwave from animated, none of them can keep several half sized decepticons in their chest cavity!
Only those who display power, have this ability.

Just cuz he's loyal to Megatron doesn't mean he thinks of Megatron as a friend. He might not have protested cuz Megatron didn't exactly order him to. Soundwave wasn't exactly one to act on his own in Megatron's presence. Whenever Megatron was around, he did what Megatron told him to do and worked with him accordingly. With Megatron out of commission, he had no orders to act upon. And when Megatron was tossed out, he was free to do what he wanted instead. At least, that's another way to look at it.

I doubt it. After Megs is thrown out, there's a scene transition that implies that he and the others had been drifting for a while before Unicron showed up.

Thing is, no one knew who Unicron was until he either showed up and introduced himself or someone told everyone who he was. How would Soundwave know about Unicron?

Again, Unicron was an enigma to the present-day TFs. No one knew who he was, much less what kind of powers he had.

That Soundwave had a different backstory form G1 Soundwave. Cybertron Soundwave wasn't a Decepticon. He was a survivor of Planet X, who came into Unicron's service with the promise that Unicron would restore Planet X after his and Sideways' term of service was over.

G1 cartoon Soundwave, however, was a Cybertron-native Decepticon who had been in Megatron's service since Megatron's initial days of warfare.

Cybertron and G1 are two different continuities.

Plus, Unicron existed before time itself. Both Soundwaves are mere mortals with no control over the dark god.

Soundwave answers to me.

Soundwave is a mind reader. I reckon that Soundwave detected Unicron's powerful brain waves while Astrotrain was travelling to Cybertron. Unicron was relatively close at the time. Soundwave could tell that Unicron had plans for Megatron and the other injured Decepticons. It was the best chance of survival for those casualties. As he said himself: 'Soundwave superior!'.
