I felt pretty dumb finding a solution for something which had always irritated me in Blackout's design.

Yesterday, I picked up the KO headmasters set, and while playing around with them, I noticed something I'd never ever seen or realized before with my original Lord Zarak or Vorath. Yesterday I found out that Headmasters evidently have flaps on their backs to cover the large face while in alt mode.
I actually had to check Vorath to confirm that, yes, he also has this feature

OK, so maybe part of it is from working in tech support, where there's nothing more annoying than being asked a question which is answered on page 1 of the manual.
But still, when it comes to commercial products, you never know when the designer or the cost-cutters or the marketing department have thrown in something unexpected or a slightly different way of handling some standard function. I'd rather not be stuck thinking I have a broken or low-quality product for years merely because I didn't read the instructions.

Hold him facing you, near the neck and near the hips. Bend him forward. The hidden joint is where the purple (or gray) plastic of his chest meets the black plastic of his belly. It's only one notch, but it gives him a lot of character.

Um, that hinge is used for the transformation to tank mode.

Both of you don't: even though the whole piece is highlighted, only the claw part is moved in the instructions.
