I'll post something to sub to this thread. I want to know in advance when weijiang or some other company will make a high quality KO that ironically improves the original.

Also, if there's pre-order up for such KO's this is a great thread to post them. Because nothing is more frustrating than to see an amazing KO getting reviewed on YouTube only to find it out-of-stock everywhere.

Sirtoys have a nice light blue OSKO film Dinobot Strafe:

It seems to use the simplified wings (with two hinges), rather than the three hinged version on the black repaints?

Also, Sirtoys has just got in the second Wei Jiang KO of TLK Hound, which is an OSKO version with (better?) paint apps:

kinda bummed that they didn't give a panel to cover the hole on his arm, considering they did with skullchruncher and hardhead. but the collapsable propeller is also nice, nonetheless.

also, this makes me wonder, what happen with OS brainstorm? he is one of the first figure they showed, and yet until now he hasn't been released yet. out of all TR OSKO they made, he is the one i look forward to the most.

Exactly. I didn't know the rotors were collapsible. However, it's a shame the paint apps are more sparse than the Hasbro version. I'll have to repaint posts of mine! I wish someone would KO the Reprolabels sets to fit these figures, too. Can anyone here manage to make these?

Is it a straight KO, or are they going to repaint it into the "correct" G1 (non-cartoon) metallic colours and fix the silly, elongated, "Chinny Hill" face?

I dunno if "correct" is the right term to use for describing something as being "G1". What you want is something in "toy accurate" colors. Love them or hate them, cartoon colors are just as "G1" as toy accurate decos. I personally never understood the point of toy accurate decos on modern molds that are meant to be more cartoon accurate. Anyways, I would be open to buying the KO if they put it in a different deco. But I care more about about fixing the QC issues like paint chipping and the silencer issues. Ive never transformed mine to gun mode because I dont want to chip the paint. I dont imagine a chrome deco being any different in that aspect. But an all black and gun metal Diaclone repaint with no painted parts would be perfect to transform for me.

If it's a straight KO, chances are there will be no improvements. Even worse, the quality may be iffy and one may end up with an expensive pile of scrap.

Not 'news' as such, but by chance while searching for pictures of MMC Tigris; I found out that Sirtoys has regular-sized KOs of the whole MMC Feral Rex crew. Also, about a billion Terminus Hexatrons.

Only Razorclaw, Rampage and Divebomb are in stock now; with the two leg guys, the cool Carnivac retool and the add-on kit seemingly necessary to form Predaking sold out. Still, I am interested and I was wondering if anyone could speak to this set's quality. Or complete lack thereof.
