This looks too professional, and too far along to be some hacked together kitbash fan project. If someone's going to this much trouble, I'd bet money it's getting manufactured.

I hope you're right. The designer of this is a friendly fellow from China. This could easily be an engineering or modeling project for a university. I hope someone makes it. That alt. mode is so convincing!

Yeah, supposing we need a real answer out of each 3rd party on:

1. which Megatrons are actually being released
2. price
3. size comparison

Then we can all make up our minds!

Yep. I know Hegemon will likely get more business simply because they are the first to provide a decent "classics" Megs. Currently, they are still the only Megs with a product for sale, at least a pre-order.

And wouldn't you know it... I went back to look at ole Hegemon and it DOES look really good. The robot almost comes across as a mini masterpiece. I'm thinking more and more that I'll have to pick him up.

But his weapon mode is definitely lacking, especially compared with the rest of these. We ALL know he'll be staying in robot mode on the shelf while we wait to see what these other guys do.
