This. Is. Spartan. Mastermind Creations have finally given sections of the Transformers fandom a figure they have been craving for almost 30 years, Impactor. Of course, MMC’s Reformatted R-13 is called ”Spartan” and is based heavily on the IDW design for Impactor, as seen in Chaos Theory and Last Stand Of The Wreckers. Fans of the Marvel UK Transformers comics rejoice, the leader of the Wreckers is finally available in toy form – just ahead of the official Impactor that the official Collector’s Club will offer as a Combiner Wars repaint and in place of the never-released iGear Presser.

I have it in my pile of loot. But I wasn't expecting it to be as complex as you are saying it is. Im tempted to cancel my preorder for the Comotose version if its that much of a pain to transform. I spent an hour transforming their Elita 1 and almost threw her against the wall !

I think 99.99% of people will prefer Spartan's transformation to the fembots. For some reason the transformation of Azalea, Eupatorium, Salvia etc really stuck a chord with me when I sussed out all the tricks, I just love it now. Spartan got much easier on repeat transformations, it won;t bother most. It;s just the final step of locking all of it together is a bitch if you have not aligned absolutely everything perfectly.

This article is spot on to how I feel about it. Really nice action figure of Impactor, frustrating and not great Transformer. I'm also not a fan of how the front scoop things on the tank aren't glued on. They just sort of fall off during transformation on mine.

Oddly enough I'm not feeling this as Impactor. I absolutely love the look of him as Turmoil and will probably get that version of the mold, but this...nah.
