That problem gets overlooked though because we have quick fixes for that. I am sorry to hear the few people in this thread that have had problems but I know multiple others that have not. Speaking for myself, FP is still the top of the ladder in third party projects.
It's not fair to say FansProject is bad because of one instance, or two, or a handful for that matter. But, I've been spoiled by them. Time and time again, they kept raising the bar. They are the leader in transforming toys across the board in my book. I'd rather spend $50 on a Fansproject scout class figure than the same amount on a MP HotRod "-imus Prime". And this is speaking literally. Yet, why not use an unfair statement to bring attention to one of their most devoted fans (my) concerns. They have a well deserved reputation, and I don't hold them up to the same standards as even the almighty Hasbro. These works are of extreme craft - as if they were making them for themselves. That's why I'm all in when it comes to FansProject, spare no expenses. If you gotta make it out of the most expensive plastic, by all means, do tha damn thang to its fullest potential. It seems to me, that a minor slip in quality control, a lapse in care for every fine detail, or even the slightest bit of laziness in character development as reflected in a sculpt - should alarm the FANS that work in each project to bring FansProject releases to life (their artisans). I was unfair, but it's because I intend my words to reach their eyes; after all, true passionate artists seek true crit in order to advance and advance. I'm a huge fan of the project. I want from them their best.
