So, I got the glorious Thundertron a few days ago for my birthday, and everything about him is just... =P~

Well, almost everything...

That damn sword would have been SO awesome if he could just, HOLD the thing.

Well, Iv'e devised a way that he can:

Use it on his wrists

Or take these two pieces

And combine them into one weapon

And hold it like a regular sword!

And it still stores in both modes

Mistransformation, I know.

It's pretty versatile, and the best part is, its so EASY!

Just unscrew everything, and remove the electronic component from the gold part that holds the sword. it will then do all of the above, no problems. You don't need to glue the blade in place, as the spikes on the sides of the claw hold it together when combined, but I recomend it. It's miles better then the dumb mech-techy thing it was a part of, and now you have alot more options!

That's great! I've been looking over fixes for awhile and I wanted one that I wouldn't have to tear apart anything permanently, this is perfect.

I won't be able to try it out for myself until I'm home in a few days (just two finals to go!

Gah, I'm torn! I love this setup, very cool and hefty. But I also like how it looks with the blade removed entirely and a grip attached to it. Lean and mean.

Great idea, this, nice work.

Well, alls required here is a couple screws and a tug or two. Adding a grip requires pin removal and, well, a grip. In the end it's all up to you, thanks for looking.

This works great! Just picked up mine last night and I absolutely hate the gimmick weapon. I love it when a mod can be done with a minimum of breakage/"surgery". Thanks for the post.

I like the fact that it works and you don't permanatly damage the actual weapon. May be a bit bulky, But less than what it Currently is. Plus Give that whole peg leg thing a better reason to stay that way in beast mode.
