I just picked up a TT Blitzwing and it has that problem with his leg. I know there was a topic with pics that showed how to fix the problem, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone post the link for me please?.....many thanks

Do you mean you are having trouble getting it to peg in properly in tank/jet mode?

If so, then I collapse each leg one at a time first, and then join them together. I find it easiest to collapse the leg and peg it to the crotch piece with the panel on the back of the leg open, so you keep a finger on the back of the thigh while pushing the front enough to get it to peg. You have to kind of push front of the leg/shin area both upward toward the crotch and in toward the thigh at the same time. Then repeat with the other leg, and last peg the 2 legs together.

Good luck, once you get it to peg properly, it should be a little easier as time goes by.

When I collapse the leg, the panel will not close all the way. I think it has something to do with the joint on the inside. I wish I could post a pic but photobucket won't let me unless I pay them and I don't use that enough to justify giving them money....

If the panel won't close all the way, then that means the leg isn't fully collapsed. It sounds like you are about 90% there and the last 10% will probably take a little more force than you are thinking it would, at least that was my recollection the first time I handled the mold. I think it took me about 20 minutes the first time around to figure it out. I'll see if I can get a couple photos when I get home later to better illustrate.

You could try imgur, or just upload the photo to the forums.

I actually had the same problem with my blitzwing. What the problem was for me was the leg’s thigh swivel had plastic from the leg piece. This causes the leg to not fully be in place and the leg panel not being able to close. My solution was to remove the leg at the thigh swivel, shave/cut the excess plasic off and push the leg back into place. From the picture, the leg piece has some plastic broken off while the swivel has some excess plastic to it.(I didn’t want to pop the leg out of the joint again bc it was a pain to push it back into place) The extra plastic on the swivel made the leg not able to be pushed in all the way and rotating at that joint would pop the leg out. Hope this helps
