As fun as it is to send another thread-that-shall-not-be-named off-topic, I figure we need one to talk about the glory of toasted sandwiches and any other random things that may pop into our heads.

So anyway ... not sure how things work in other countries, but bread ... we have our local bakeries which I support frequently for bread and meat pies ... but then the supermarkets stock their own brand bread (which it's been revealed some of which is "partially baked" overseas) but also brands from national companies.

Now obviously supermarket and national brands tend to work out cheaper but they also taste like crap, hence my support of the local guy.

So my question is, does anyone else watch Sleepy Hollow? Totally digging that show.

Oh and just how bad for you is SLIGHTLY moldy bread? 'cause I just had some for lunch.

I like freshly baked break right from a local bakery.
I have cut way down on bread, though, in light of being about 50 lbs. overweight.
That's about 22.5 kg.
I've never seen Sleepy Hollow, though I do like the original story.
And slightly moldy bread is slightly bad.

I currently don't have an operational motor vehicle, so my choices of transportation are either a bike or my feet.
Riding a bike would cut down on time, but walking is better exercise, so I've found out.

I do have a car, and it's cherry red/maroon-ish color.
Like Rodimus from the G1 cartoon.
I'm contemplating having yellow flames painted on the hood, with the Autobot symbol in the middle.
I won't have the hatch painted yellow, nor will I put a yellow spoiler on it.
That would be kind of half-way to making it look like Rodimus.
Should I even bother?

This might be better off in the Manly Thread, but I'm also contemplating keeping my beard.

Well, I have never seen the point of having both Gears and Brawn around at the same time. Is Brawn an upgraded version of Gears? Both are small and have a character trait. Is Brawn just lazy writing? Could Brawn take on a crocodile? Could Gears?

I remember an episode where Optimus Prime died of something. I may have been Galvatron. Does he come with a minicon? What made him grand, anyway?

How about an egg sandwich?

I don't like bacon either. Or eggs for that matter. Give me a grilled ham and cheese, or a grilled mozzarella with pesto, ham and tomato any day of the week. Or even a Subway's Steak & Cheese with Chipotle sauce. [-(

Gotham, or as I call it, Batman Minus Batman, is about as appealing to me as a sandwich made of crap. Call me when they skip ahead 20 years and feature Bruce fighting crime in the cowl, then we'll talk.

Flash has been really good so far, though.

Moldy bread consumption depends on how you tolerate penicillin. I'd be in shock, because I have a severe allergy to penicillin which is made from bread molds.
