TOMMY TEK
I've had the privledge of meeting alot of good people on this site. Weither it be talking, trading or whathave you. My time here has been great. I singed up with Seibertron.com(and only Seibertron.com) just for that reason. The members here seem real close knit, and I like that.
Still, like in any open forum, there are always people who are going to ruin a good time. Should it be people that just wanna bash othere people and ideas, take out there overinflated sense of superiority out on others, or just in general hang around to be a prick, you all know who they are.
But the people that I realy like here are the friendly ones who you can comunicate with even when you don't agree on a topic.
The ones I hate are the ones who'll try and bash you sensless, just because you spelt a word wrong or didn't know that in the backround of pannel 3 page 07 of the UK comic from 1985 that BeachComber helper Spike with a hangnail.
Well, I was just looking to pass time in a forum the otherday, and came across a member who said he found and bought a bunch of one movie figure.
I felt bad because he stated he's new to the hobby and thats just the one he wanted. He didn't say anything about reselling, or hording, or anything, just that he thought it would be cool to have all those figures.
Everyone jumped on this poor guy taking real personal shots at him without even knowing him.
Well, I took his back, because I own some multiple figures, and I don't feel I'm wrong for that, it's just what collecting is.
Now here's what I'm saying about GOOD members here, the guy was greatful for me just being nice to him, and told me he'd send me a figure as he knew I was having no luck finding one.
The package arrived today, and this guy took not one cent from me. Now again, I've delt with several members here in the way of purchase and trade, but I never got anything for free.
This kinda made me fear it was a CommieNazi ploy to have a box of shoe powder explode in my face.
Slowly I opened the box realy expecting something like that to happen, but sure enough...
Tommy Tek came through for me!
See, this is why it pays to just be cool.
This guy told me he wants nothing in return, but I have a shipping address now, and am gonna help him bulk up his TF army, why, because it's the right thing to do!
Thanks, Liege Evilmus

Nice share. When I first saw it, I was feeling like, "Oh no Liege got screwed..." cause i read those posts.
I'm glad it worked out, and maybe it will help people lay off the scalpers but for a while.
Thanks for sharing. Enjoy BB, he is awesome.

Ah, so you know this happened for real
I'm not trying to say we shouldn't all give eachother bots here, cause I believe in the barter system.
But this guy went above and beyond to be cool! And it's hard to go above and beyond everyday...
...that don't mean we gotta be assholes just because of that though.
It don't hurt to be cool, so, why not
PS. if you don't lock the clip in the rear thread fender on both sides. The tank holds alot easier when you set the rest. Mines held in alt mode for a while now after that with handeling. ---leader brawl---

It's a thread like this that shows exactly why I delayed signing up for other TF forums. Silly bickering. And it's a thread like this that shows why I like Seibertron, because the friendly attitude that permeates this site is top notch. Kudos.

Just single me out why don't you?

Good story though. Truth is, that the number of generous people on the boards is quite high. Most are willing to help out and be cool when they can.
It made BotCon totally worth it to meet many of Seibs members in person and find that they were as cool in rl as they were on the interweb.

welcome to Seibs' boards man. that's a pretty awesome move you made, giving away not only any TF, but the ONE that causes a heavy metal war of words (and letters) to erupt at the slightest moment ANYWHERE. though naturally, almost (snicker) all the members here are friendly nutheads like you and me, unlike other boards out there *cough*.
all i can say is: TAKE THAT, SCALPERSof08BBwhoHoard&ChargeUnreasonablePricesOnEbay!!!

I'm relatively new to this forum (in posting anyway) but have seen this kind of behavior on other ones in the past (non-Transformer). While there are mostly great people who post, respond, and help out, there are just some users who feel that this distance and anonymity give them an excuse to be a jerk. It's great to see a post like this which reminds us of the good in people and that a few ‘bad apples’ don't really spoil it for the rest of us.
