I dont feel its a pre-tool. It sounds more like a retool to me and a great example, thanks Kanrabat!), especially since the Jetfire cues are still there (like the leftover holes on the back). I am not fond of the fake chest but I must admit it is quite stylish. If you can find them for cheap, I highly recomend them, they make a great entourage for Leader Megatron.

I do love them and think they're a great retool, especially how striking the jet mode is in-hand. I felt good just displaying the jet mode on a shelf from time to time; and I'm someone who prefers robot modes (or, of course, combined modes) for displays. It just looked that good.

It's nice to see some appreciation for them, I think I'm one of the only ones who liked them instead of considering them cheap.

My only real complain with the Jetfire/Seekers leader are the "choux chinois" wings. some extra panels wouldn't have hurt.

I'm fairly certain the seekers from Jetfire are a traditional, not decided at the mold's conception, retool.
