Funny you mention ol' Shokaract as I was considering him. The thing that ultimately put me off (aside form my love of the colour red) is that I hear that his chrome is RIDICULOUSLY prone to flaking off like so much shiny shredded cheese.
It is a gorgeous colourscheme though. It's a shame the molds are probably long lost and that they don't do reissues of Club exclusives (especially considering he was, IIRC, a product of the 3H days) because I'd love to see a reissue of Shokaract with fixed chrome. In fact a reissue of BW Rampage would be awesome too.

Hey y'all, chiming in a bit late here, but I think there are a few we are forgetting...
DotM Wreckers come to mind, especially Topspin's deluxe toy and Roadbuster's human alliance figure. Those were sweet. Not to mention AoE Hound and Nightwatch Optimus Prime (pretty much anyone) plus recon Ironhide RotF. Movies have given us some pretty awesome transformers.
As did Beast Hunters. That deluxe Bulkhead is so awesome, as is Wheeljack. Those wings man!

I guess my vote for "biggest badass" would be DotM Shockwave
I dunno, 'badass' is a frustratingly vague term and a character trait I find rather dull. Like, to be badass you have to be powerful and be able to beat everything to death, or something? Eh. I mean, I do like characters that can beat everything to death, but I always look for something more than killstreaks. Shockwave here appeals to me because he's absolutely nightmarish, what with the sideways jaws, the ribcage, devil horns, and eye that practically glows in the dark.
... which could also be considered "badass", even though nobody else listed has those kinds of traits, hence my point about the term being so nebulous.
